Strelok quells beast DIMAGA to win HD World Finals

The series between Dimaga and Strelok promised to be some of the finest as both the players met and defeated some names on their road to victory. Strelok has taken down SEn for his place at the finals and stands strong against another zerg of a high caliber.

Game one starts off pretty bad for Strelok- losing 8 blue flame hellions to only zerglings and killing no workers at all. Dimaga, the monster he is, macros beastly and amasses an army of lings, infestors and ultras to shortly after crush Strelok and take game one.

Game two on Tal’Darim alter does not go Strelok’s way either. After a little hesitation he loses his opportunity for his siege tank, marine push, only to meet Dimaga’s army of ultras, infestors and lings a minute after. 2-2 upgrades on the zerg swarm and A-click behind the mineral line of Strelok wraps it up
for game two and Dimaga wins it in a beastly manner.

Game three on ICcup testbug marks the beginning of the renaissance for Stelok. His banshee choice awards him with 16 drones dead in Dimaga’s base. Dimaga lacked the strength to quite recover and soon after is short of infestors to beat the bio mix and siege tanks of Strelok. Strelok is back in the game with a victory.

Game four and game five go one for one to Strelok and Dimaga. And we come to the concluding games six and seven. At game six, Strelok needs badly to equalize – a game of non-stop action and multi-prone attacks. Strelok stifles Dimaga’s ambitions to go macro crazy as before and keeps him always on
edge! Successfully Strelok pushes with tanks and marines and medivacs to kill Dimaga’s natural. Second push is imminent and Dimaga throws his ultras army- without even noticing- to its doom. “lol” followed by GG – silly mistake gives game six away to Strelok.

Game seven, the victor decider, on Crossfire is a disaster for Dimaga. Strelok goes for a fast cloak banshees, whereas Dimaga gears up for a baneling/ roach bust. Needless to say, Dimaga is caught offguard and the banshees reign supreme in his base. Minutes later Dimaga is crushed by a tank/marine push and GGs out.

Congratulations to Strelok and Dimaga for duking it out in a series of 7 magnificent games. Strelok wins it leaving Dimaga second – both good friends, will have a laugh over it later and enjoy playing vs each other in
future again. Congratulations to SEn also, for being the second runner up in this tournament taking home $250.
