I noticed a thread on reddit trying to organize a mass donation drive to coincide with the special. I was deeply flattered to see people actually offering to send money my way.”Sean wanted to make his 200th episode of his dailies into something special. That's when reddit's community came up with the donations, which now has led to thousands of USD sent to the all so famous and loved caster, Day[9], who now does not have to worry about his last semester of grad school.

Before my eyes were thousands of dollars. THOUSANDS. And not thousands of dollars donated by a handful of generous individuals. The donations were in small increments: 1$, 4$, 10$, and a couple of 15s and 20s. In other words, an astounding amount of people voluntarily donated enough money so that I don't have to take out another gigantic loan for my last semester of grad school.”Sean explains how the happy news made him motivated, and is now planning for more than the usual five episodes a week of his dailies, most likely having two shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
