NVIDIA GeForce artwork contest - first 2 candiates

The first week of our NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 contest has concluded, and we received some really incredible artwork. Out of the first week's batches, GosuGamers has picked out these two candidates.

With the second contest round kicking off, we encourage you all to send in your entry. Entrants who sent in their work from the first week are allowed to send in a different piece for the new contests rounds.
GosuGamers is together with NVIDIA giving you the opportunity to become the lucky winner of an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460.
All you need to do is create an artwork that involves StarCraft 2. Whether it's computer-generated art, pen-and-paper or a sculpture, that is up to you. All entries will be published here on GosuGamers.
The competition will run for four weeks, where the GosuCrew will pick out two candidates every week. After the end of the competition, we will let the community vote to crown the winner to receive the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460.
Send in your contest entry to contest[@]gosugamers.net with your artwork attached along with your contact and shipping information.

| 2nd one looks better, first one looks cleaner. not a fan of the blurred background and where the marine is standing on the second one, but the banshee is a nice touch. also don't like how it looks like the entire marine was dipped into laminate. way too shiny |
| #13: blurred background is for excelling of marine. He isnt in the middle of picture for better composition. And its metal. I think that if you will flash on metal, it will be shiny on some parts. But if Im wrong it looks at least more action ;)... but of course thanks for your opinion :) |

| #13 I somewhat agree with you. I think the first one's style is a little closer to the actual game play of SC2 and I'm not really a fan of the heavy contrast, low brightness and blurred background of the second, even though I fully appreciate the point of drawing it that way for emphasis on the marine, I just much prefer the more natural feel of the first. Unfortunately, they're both marines, which I find dull, so GOGO more pictures! :P Good work, both of you though, really. |

| 2nd one is a bit like a metroid/marine hybrid. That´s my favorite so far. Cant wait to see what the deeper weeks bring! |
