Go4SC2 #29: Dimaga vs DeMusliM in the final

Dimaga won the grand final, took home €200 and 100 points to the rankings of August in the 29th edition of Go4SC2 on Sunday the 15th.After defeating DeMusliM 3-2 in the grand final, Dimaga secured both a nice sum of €200 and a spot in the GosuCup finals on Sunday, August the 15th. DeMusliM as the runner-up won himself 75 points, Jinro won 60 points after beating HasuObs in the bronze final. HasuObs added 40 points to the rankings.

| at the end it has been more like a showmatch because of the race-switches. i still think demu was the better player in this match |
| demu is definitely better than Dimaga. Shame that dimaga cries about imbalances so badly that a better player has to basically give him an "e-hug" |

| They ruined the finals of a serious tournament with their behaviour in the name of some Dimaga's crusade to prove blizzard wrong and terran imba. I wouldn't be surprised if Go4SC2 thinks about punishing them. |
| Why would they punish them? If anything they are happy. They want viewers and to generate interest. What is more interesting then seeing pro players switch races! |

| It's not that they played a different race, its because and how they played a different race. Their play lvl (everything past game2) was gold league standard and you know it, and it was all in the name of Dimaga's dramatics, with obviously an agreement before the match what they will both do and how will the split the money. For a finals of a tournament this type its retarded to do something like that... and if you think otherwise well, theres something either wrong with you or youre their fanboy. |
| #19 did they break any rule ? no. so the only thing you're saying is "they should be banned cause i dislike it how they played" they managed it both to play in the final, so it's absolutely THEIR choice how to play this final. next time you come and say: huh ? this guy cheesed with a cannon rush in a final -> BAN HIM ! the playstyle is the players choice. no reason for any QQ. |

| I believe the issue people had with the final matches was that they were expecting top-notch TvZ, but the finalists decided to fool around instead. It would be fine if they decided to race switch elsewhere, but not in a tournament as big as Go4SC2, in the final nontheless. It's not against the rules, but it's bad showmanship in my opinion. Not to mention how it reflects upon all the other participants who played their best, only to see a goofy final. The race switching didn't mean anything either, contrary to what #4 tries to imply. It was just two players playing races they normally don't play. |

| so if the dimaga demuslim thing dont gets blizzards alarm bells wringing, they are all nursing cases. most obvious sign that TvZ is broken 'nuff said, iam out like camping #21 i think most of "pro" players can be pretty good with terrans, while much fewer pros can be good with zerg tbh. |
