SearchGosuCup: Open For All Tournament With €1,500

We are proud to announce the return of the GosuCups. This time we have a €1,500 prize pool sponsored by NVIDIA. The cups are open for all, and we will have four qualification rounds, two for the European and two for the American server.
The first place winner will take home €900, €450 for the runner-up and €150 will go to the third place winner. There will be four qualification tournaments where the top two players advance to a final tournament to decide the winner.
Two GosuCups for the US server, and two for the European server. The first qualification cup will be held already this upcoming weekend, starting at 18:00 EDT for the US qualifiers, and 18:00 CET for the European qualifiers.
Each qualification tournament is open for 256 players, with the three first rounds being best of one, and from there all the games will be best of three, including the final.
We will provide streams of as many games as possible, but the tournament is open for other medias to cast as well, contact Marko@gosugamers.net if you're interested. All players should meet up in #GosuGamers.SC2 at Quakenet on IRC.

| I think qualification tournaments should be open for more than 256 players. Zotac 512 places where taken in like 4 minutes after chekin started. For example Go4sc2 increase their price poll to 200 euro and all of a sudden it become 1024 player tournament. It will be a time fight to join the tournamnet with so low player number, especially when it open to everyone. And I think 8 players is also pretty low for a final cup. But still awesome news, Im always happy to see new new tournaments that are open to play and always provide handful of replays to learn from :) |

| #18, the news does not say anything about the qualifications being on a saturday and not a sunday. You might be confused because the headline says the qualifcations START saturday, but that does not mean all qualifications will be held on a saturday. #19, yes you are, but once you have qualified you cannot play again in a qualification tournament. |

| it says the date is saturday, but at the top it says the 15th, which is Sunday. Can any admin confirm if it's saturday or sunday? The euro one says Sunday on both the date and the day of the week, but the US GosuCups have the date as Sunday but the "day" listed as "Saturday."... |

| For the US guys it's Saturday the 14th 18:00 EDT, but since we got CET here, so the tourney needed to be created at 0:00 CET the 15th to be accurate with the dates :) |
| you are supposed to change the username when you "register" for the tournament, because there is that option, so you just need to write your battle.net nick and code there. |
this cup interfers with the SC2CL Clantournament. Saturday at least. but there are so many tournaments out there. it's impossible to manage everything |
