The wait is over: Welcome to the world, StarCraft 2!

StarCraft 2 is now released in Asia and most parts of Europe, and the long wait is finally over!It has been more than three years since I sat in one of my friend's basement one morning getting ready for a job I had at the local radio station. I did my usual breakfast internet surfing, and I visited GosuGamers. I knew something was up, I knew I could expect something.
The trailer started. I was so excited - what is this, StarCraft 2, World of StarCraft, or did they pick up on Ghost again? I was of course always thinking it was StarCraft 2, but I didn't want to get my hopes up.
Well, it didn't matter - the seconds between the line HELL, IT'S ABOUT TIME until the StarCraft 2 logo came up was one of the most nervous, exciting and thrilling moments of my life. When the StarCraft 2 logo finally appeared I was crying real tears.
The time is finally here, I have my StarCraft 2 copy.

| Damn, Im playing campain on Hard dificulty and Im aiming to make it with achievements too be more difficult and Ive got a problem. Im getting disconnected like every 30min from battle.net, I can play but achievements dont trigger if your offline. Does anyone got this strange drops from battle.net like every 30mins? |

| My experience so far: I bought the game during my lunch, ran to my house and let it install ready for when I come back! In the meantime I made sure I registered online etc ("PsychoBaBas" btw). OK so I literally dash home ASAP to try this beast! Bare in mind that even though I have a beta key I NEVER played it, rather prefering to play the completed game. Everything went very smoothly, all installations, all registrations no problem. I have made up my mind that in SC2 I will play Terran so I start off! In the game I seriously didnt have a clue what I was doing, so I just tried playing TvT, TvZ brood war style. God I got raped. Seems like some strats dont work anymore :P Banelings cracked my defence like an egg, fast exp TvZ is veeeery risky. XD Just my first 1 hour of gameplay thoughts. :P 2 criticisms/rants: 1. the maps look and feel painfully small. 2. yeah it is far far far far easier than brood war no doubt about it (probably a good thing!) overall, after 1 hour of gaming I am not completely enthralled by SC2 but it definitely looks promising. |
| yeap, sc2 is faaaar easy to play than bw, i was a max C+ player on icc , and during beta i was platinium , diamond and then platinium again....its easy to play.... after this i played bw, and is very very hard ...:) |

| i don't feel like surfing for these answers: Is online free? Are there chat channels? Are there still hotkeys? How difficult is the adjustment, sc:bw --> SC2? Is there a Ladder online like early SC? whats online gaming like?!?! |
| Yes No Yes As a Terran, TvT and TvZ was easy to adjust to. TvP is a completely different setup. One thing I'm having trouble with is the timings but I guess that will gradually come. Yes Packed with beginners. 90% of games I get dropped. (I mean unit dropped not disconnected XD) Last time I checked there were 1 million people online at the Europe server. |
| Anyone who complains about difficult, play it on brutal or wth is the name for hardest level. It gives some challange, but you can beat it. Just like the original game did :P |

| after xxx games played on beta im simply bored with sc2 and doubt will buy it in near future. btw ladder system is veery shitty, v.hard to know where you at with your skill.. Getting to diamond is very easy, other leagues plat. and lower are full of newbs.. i have question any major changes in final versions comparing to last beta stage? |
