This is a fairly small patch that focuses mostly on rolling back some unstated changes in phase two, so there aren't too many exciting changes. A lot of things revert back to the way they were at the end of Phase 1. We'll see if things heat up in terms of patch changes as there is less than a week left of Starcraft 2 Beta.

Actually TvZ is hard for both players.. I mean Terran has no choice but going mech since bio is suicide against FG + Banelings and ultras... Terran mech MAY be a little bit powerful but still, Z can counter it easily with NP, burrowed roachs and ultras (more Z should make this unit and stop thinking it sucks! Seriously!)
#36 2gates push is strat usefull for noobs who are being raped all the time since beta started and can't win in different way
Like proxi , pool8 .. But works sometimes .
#52 2 gate push is a strat against noobs that can´t stop pumping eco only until they have 40 drones (; *disclaimer*: no offense :D
#54 i don't think that pumping eco is noobish, i personally know how to defend 2 gate push but it always pisses me off (and probably most of ppl playing sc2)
#3 u might just suck.. ever thought of that?
cant join battle.net? after this patch.. am i alone?=
#55 Well if you call all pro european toss noobs then gg.
That's boring .. That's so long . OMFG .
#57, no you are not. I can login but when i press "enter" it goes back to login screen
I lost my last TvZ to ultras I had 2 expos against zero and a huge mech army, 5-6 ultras annihilated everything I had and the zerg managed to re-expand and eventually win.
Terran op or not, but it seems only terrans have 5:1 or even 6:1 win ratio in diamond, protoss and zerg pro players have more like 3:1 max. Should say something :p
To the S to the server is up :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My replays are broken, anyone who are able to watch theirs?
IT DOESNT DL THE PATCH, so what the fuck can i do?
#18 as soon as they nerf broodlords, no zerg player is allowed to complain about anything.
#63 i can't watch reps as well
#62 IF blizz is thinking then yes, but we will have to see.
#61 thats just the worst lie i've ever heard. you had a sizeable mech army (hellion thor tank i assume? ) and you lost to ultras? try just clicking attack button next time. I really think zerg needs some changes. We really should have some alternative options against full mech terran and colo/gateway/phoenix P in late game. Zerg seems to be the only race that has to adapt as the game goes along. Im sick of counter acting. Oh P is making colossi, I should have corruptors. Oh T is making thor tank, I need to go broods, or push early before he has sizeable army.
I dont get it why european zerg whine so much... Is that because you are simply bad or to lazy to watch how korean zergs wins tournament after tournament ?
Under-rated strategy Burrow ultralisks Engage the Terran mech in front of your burrow Pop up the ultras into the sieging/sieged tanks Then watch your army mow down the Thors/Hellions as they panic to turn and focus fire. I've seen a lot of Terran Mech armies relie on their comsat for detection rather than carrying around Ravens, so give it a shot, you're sure to give the Terran a real surprise :) Works particularly nicely if you can hide your ultralisk den behind your minerals at your natural and even upgrade to greater spire to make him think your hive is for broodlords or so. This has worked for me with some success against the Protoss Collossi-Stalker-zealot push too at late game, only protoss are more likely to carry around with them observers in my experience, so get some corrupters and run around picking them off.

I am not a pro in this game, no way to say that. I've just started playing but I've got some friends playing this game as well, one of them having about 30 games behind him, compared to mine mere 300 games (during the whole beta phases). He has very little "macro" or "micro" skill yet and he plays terran and i volonteered to help him to improve vs. zerg as we played some games. He in matter fact, after i told him the right timing and the right units totally devasteted me with terran mech. I don't say I am extremely good zerg or that terran was my strongest match but when someone while being guided can take down a player with 4 times more experience on a game it could be a warning signal of that there's something "easy" when playing the game. As a zerg player I feel very sure as long as i can keep the whole mapcontrol myself, means that I am all the time well-aware by scouts and stuff of what my enemy is up to. But whenever I lose a second of the game or lose the mapcontrol I really cannot win a backing fight. E.G. mainly when I play protoss I can scout him going templars, stalkers and i might even see the colo coming out. I am very well aware of that what he is up to but I've to stay on guard because one failed fight or some good storms might really finish a zerg with double income. Zerg is a good race, I won't deny and zerg has very good mass units but zerg has way less options than opponents and zerg has to be all the time awake during the game because it's not like we are the aggressors deciding the game but more like we just try our best to follow our enemies on what they're up to. It's really really careful stuff vs. both protoss and terran because zerg is really bad at coming back to game if the enemy wins one fight and pushes straight through vs. you. the mainreason is the fact you don't have a solo killing machine that could kill a whole army like 5 templars would be, or 4 tanks. A terran might lose a fight hard at some point of the game and for a second you feel like you're winning, you get excited push the terran and wuups he has 5 tanks on a cliff and you didn't exactly have air right that point, then you'll have to go back to sit in front of your base and try to keep mapcontrol all around to yourself while terran will have time to reform his army. Whenever this goes the other way, like a zerg losing a huge battle on central and backing to his base, what units do i've to leave standing on the top of a cliff that would prolly kill a whole enemy army? nothing. I need to fast produce whatever there's available but mainly you just cannot any longer collect a proper army and you can watch yourself die. Of course these are only my opinions and I've got in no way enough experience to say it's the absolute truth but this is how the game has appeared to me since patch 16.
