SearchNew patch available, still no beta

Europeans who try to run the StarCraft 2 beta today will have high expectations as a new patch is available for download. The beta is not up yet however.
Many thought the beta was up already, but users who have already downloaded the patch can confirm that the servers are still down. Could this mean that we are very close however? Only time will tell.
UPDATE: (the latest update is in bold)
- Yet, only Europeans are able to download the latest patch.
- The new patch is 485 MB in size.
- It will contain a lot of new sounds. The Zerg's sound has got a lot of complains, and they removed the interface sounds with the previous patch - explains some of the 485 mb.
- The patch is now available for US users.

| PLZ HELP! I downloaded beta at my bnet account and IDK i cant get ANY updates i guess. Becuase eveytime i try to login on the game with my BNET acc it says: "invalid version" plz help =( |

| I think you cannot login until the beta is online again... until then you'll get that message "invalid version" |

| Downloading now cant wait fuck the semi's now nld finals anyway ( that is if beta gets up before the match germany vs spain starts :P ) daboo why the hell would u wanna reinstall sc2? its something u just dont do! never uninstall starcraft its a crime u know now u gotta pay the fine --- sucks though that u cant update :< heared same question from friend and he has been looking for manual patch dls but unable to find :O so that aint a option i guess :( |

| For those who cant patch their sc2 do this: Go to your Starcraft 2 folder and open the support folder. Make a Realmlist.stf in the support folder. Open your Realmlist.stf as notepad. Write: set patchlist eu-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch Save and close, run your sc2 and have a nice time patching. |

| I would suggest you take your hissy fits somewhere else and don't flame in here. I know we all ticks and are just dying to play again, but just hang in there and don't let it get to your heads ^^v |

| #41 If you play offline by lunchers why beta was down you need reinstall the game It helps for me , i have the same issues.. no paching , after reinstal its all ok :) |
| Damn, I want phase 2 asap... Coz i feel that my skill is drastictly low because of this maintance, and I dont want to learn from scratch the game after release :D |

| why are some people getting angry. where's the love? darn, i tried to load the map editor, and now you cannot even use that while the servers are down. was gonna see if there were new sound effects. And now to spuriously get my hopes up based on this... I can't see Bliz forbidding us access to the map editor too, for too long! |
