New DOTA Hero -Jedi Style

As myself and ED were waiting for a the XTC vs CT showmatch game for CGL to start (which was about an hour) we were bored and came up with a joke idea which I wanted to share with everyone.

New Hero:

Tobi Wan - Force Style

Abilities:

#1
Light Throw (leaving lightsaber out as that is copywrite central)

Throwing your sword (which would have to be glowing light a light saber) in a circular arc, reducing the speed of anyone it hits.

Master Aura (as in Jedi Master)

This is an option aura, having it regen health or mana, or both at a decreased level.

(Depending on the type of aura you have choosen depends on the colour of your lightsaber - red for mana - Blue for health - Green for both)

Light Saber Block

This give the ability to deflect incomming attacks to a nearby creep or hero (including spells)

Ultimate - "Wana by some death sticks"

This is mind control obviously, causing the hero affacted by the ultimate to attack the nearest target with death sticks

Welcome to the BLOG of gamestah's coverage of the Asian DOTA Championships, this is where you look to see the latest coverage (that may not get posted as a news article on gosu).

For those of you who do not know who gamestah are, then you need to check out www.gamestah.com and see matches like these that we have done:

And many more found in our File Library where you will find shoutcasts from Cyber Gamer, Asian Dota Championships, WCG, Cyberfusion, DTS Cup, EEDC, Farm 4 Fame, Gosu Cup, Got Games, MY-SG 8888 Tournament, ODL and Trinidad and Tabago with more to come.

But as for ADC, which is what this blog is about, this is where you will be able to keep in touch with what shoutcasts have been done by gamestah, and have embeded videos here for you to view at anytime. Our team here at Gamestah consists of myself, 'Tobi Wan Kenobi', 'Will', 'Fairy', and 'Mick'. To also help you to understand why some shoutcasts have video available and some don't, it is because currently I am the only one for DOTA with the setup to record video, hence when i am not in the shoutcast, Audio and Demo are only available.

To have a stroll down memory lane, lets have a look at the qualifiers of ADC.

The first qualifier to kick off Gamestah's coverage of ADC was the [Australia Grand Final] - MCiTY vs C2i where we had our top aussies fighting it out for the right to represent Australia.

We then jumped overseas to check out what was happening in Malaysia shoutcasting teams such as Mski.MY, iNc.Excello, Cybertime, KS.MY, and Small World Gaming.

Will was there for the [Malaysia Round 5 Qualifier] KingSurf.MY vs Small World Gaming , before we started our coverage into the Semi finals, with the first semi being Kingsurf.MY vs Cybertime:

The first Semi final was a 3 game Epic to be sure, and the 2nd was an upset to all the fans in the Malaysia DOTA world:

Gamestah of course can't be everywhere, but we did make a trip to Indonesia for their Semi Final:

We then found ourselves with all the qualifiers done, moving into the rounds, with the second round match of Mcity vs Cybertime going into 3 rounds of DOTA with the second being the pick of the 3 matches.

Round 3 then came around, and it was quiet evening after I got home from work, so I thought I would sit down and have a quick shoutcast of the Starsboba vs Razer.CGC match, not being able to find anyone else available, I went to do the shoutcast solo. I DID NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS GETTING MYSELF INTO!!. With the first game going to an amazing 78min in length and the shoutcast going longer, I only got the first match shoutcast, but that match was more than enough to keep even the most devoted listener happy on their DOTA shoutcast fix for the week.
