GosuGamers will like to present a new event, our very own Mjolnir Forge: ShowGamers. We will try to bring quality games and give one more space in our community for skilled Starcraft gamers to shine. The very first two gamers to enter the Forge, where Brazil's rising star, Reason, who faced a veteran Spaniard who has been at more WCG's than we can count, Alfa.
In Norse mythology, Mjolnir, that means literally, "that which crushes", is the Hammer of Thor, the god of lightning and thunder. It is the most fearsome weapon in the arsenal of the Norse mythology, used to slay any challengers to Æsir supremacy. In honor of the site's Scandinavian origin we have chosen a mouthful of a name for our new event. Mjolnir's Forge: ShowGamers will be an event open to skilled gamers from accross the world between the best players of the world that we can lay our hands on, or that volunteer for the challenges.
The idea is simple, two enter Mjolnir's Forge, and as the incandescent hammer falls upon them, one will come out victorious, the other will taste absolute defeat. Regardless the outcome of the match both will be forged forever stronger after they battle under, and by, the grace of Mjolnir's Hammer. Whoever they maybe, they will be able to claim that they did battle in Mjolnir's Forge and inspire respect or instill fear in an enemy's heart.
Our first match up as metioned was
Alfa vs 
Reason, two of the best players of their respective countries. Alfa has been in too many WCG's to count, and Reason in his very first WCG tournament beat the pro-gamer 
Silent_Control in a Zerg v Terran. It is not often a "foreign" Zerg gets to feast on a Terran Pro-gamer pure blood. Who won? They are now both stronger after their encounter. If you want to know who was the victor, do the tally yourself. At the Forge that is no consequence, though many did lose their hard earned minerals at Gosubets. Right click & "Save As" on the picture and get the corresponding replay.
