SK-Gaming has picked one of the, if not the most interesting player in Germany at the moment - Andrew "Fire" Regendantz, Human player. After being clanless a while after departing from Check Six, SK-Gaming was impressed by his doingd in the ESL Pro Series, and took the Australian German under their wings.
Not very long ago
Fire left his clan Check Six because they wanted to build up an all American team, which means that Fire would not have received the same kind of support as the American players, he says in an interview with GosuGamers. That interview was done about a month ago, and at that time he had not received any serious offers to join another clan. A couple of days ago, SK-Gaming announced that they will take Fire under their wings - in their main WarCraft III division, not SK'06 as many predicted.![]() Fire in South Africa |
Got the invite just before vs. HasuObs @ EPS
"I was very happy when he (TheSlasH) contacted me and said he was thinking about inviting me to SK." Fire says to SK-Gaming, and tells that he received a word from
TheSlasH, one of the leaders of SK-Gaming, saying that if he managed to win against HasuObs in the upcoming EPS game, he would be invited. Fire won 2-0, which made his EPS record even better - 6-0! And if that was not enough, he joined one of the most successful teams in gaming throughout history. Will not represent SK in WC3L
Fire will, just as SK-Gaming's other German player miou, not represent the team in the WC3L for the moment. Instead, he will focus on the German tournaments and ladders, such as the EPS and local offline tournaments. Fire himself is aware of that there are other players that are more worthy a spot in the WC3L lineup. "I would love to be a part of the WC3L squad, but I still need a lot of time until I am on the same skill level as Deadman, for example."
Manager throws positive words over Andrew
TheSlasH throws positive words over Andrew, stating that his new recruit is the perfect addition to their ESL Pro Series lineup. "When I saw him playing Spell live on ESL TV, there was no doubt that he is to be mentioned among the German top WC3 players." And the top German WarCraft III players he mentions are Fire's new clanmate
miou,
TaKe and a bunch of members from SK'06. By looking at the GosuGamers Database, you see that Fire is in the lead, closely followed by miou. Keep in mind that most of the matches registered in the Database is from EPS, meaning the Top 10 is very German.
