GosuGamers guest writer and It's Gosu player Christopher "Ostojiy" Ostojic takes a look at the Major League Gaming 2011 season and its Open Bracket system in particular.- "At every MLG, the bracket is open so a total of six best-of-three series must be played in order to proceed to the Championship Bracket. A single dropped match places you in the losers bracket, where nine rounds are required to be played to advance," writes Ostojic.

Hi again, it's been over a week or so, and a lot has happened again :D. I just recently moved into the GOMHouse a few days ago, after some problems arose with me living at ProS. I left for both personal reasons and also in my opinion to continue to grow as a player. I won't go into detail on anything, and I hold no bad feelings towards anyone in the house or whatnot, and in fact the Coach of that house treated me extremely well since I've been in Korea.

![]() I must and do approach this replay differently due to many reasons. First of all, it was personally sent to me by a reader of ours, who, as you will see, has definitely earned a ROTW spot. Secondly, it is a step away from the usual "giants fighting giants for 50 minutes" antics; instead we have a young, absolutely unknown player owning Destiny's face with a nimbleness that you rarely expect to see from a no-namer. Apparently, this game did raise quite the response in the stream chat of Mr. Bonnell so I am here to revisit it for the ages.

![]() This edition of "Replay of the Week" is going to be special for a few reasons. First of all, these are some games straight out of the oven called "IEM Guangzhou Global Challenge" that ended just the other day. Seconds, these are two of the best players in the world, playing a series, whose outcome few could accurately predict. And third, we are featuring the better part of this Bo3 to see how the hell did Idra manage to do what he did.

Shortly following the last blog, there was a vacation time in Korea that lasts from around 9-9 to about 9-15 for some of the korean players. So this lead to a lot of sleeping/etc on my end.

![]() This week we extend our stay on Xel'Naga Caverns as after the amazing TLO vs Destiny we switch our gaze onto two Ukrainian maestros - the "grandpa toss" WhiteRa and Virus Gaming's zerg Bly. Our eastern comrades rarely fail to deliver a show and this game is no exception.
