Currently I've been addicted to starcraft 2 and i want to learn more play more watch replays and etc....

i am just asking how can i watch sc2replays patch 1.16 while my patch is 1.42 i can only watch recent replays not some RR old ones help please guys any help would be appreciated

I think the SC2 client switches to the older version when you open up the replay, doesn't it?

I would not recommend watching old replays. The meta game has shifted so much and so many times. If I were you I would download the Homestory Cup IV replay pack.

There's a great variety of match-ups in the pack and it's full of relevant strategies to the current meta game.

If you're new to the game and you want to get better, you should watch Day9 Dailies and read the Strategy forum at www.teamliquid.net as well.
