Starcraft2 hotkey problem (1755 reads, 3 replies, 4 months ago)
Hey guys, I have a hotkey problem. After a loss I hit the keyboard and F5 got stuck, I pulled the button out, put it back in ( as I always do when buttons start flying around) but it's broken. The thing is that now I can't use control groups, that is, ctrl +1,2 ....0 doesn't work anymore, although all buttons work in windows. I guess F5 plays a role here and is probably constantly pushed right now ( although the button is removed atm). give me suggestions how to exclude any function of F5 in the game so that my keyb starts working normally. Interestingly enough I can use right ctrl for control groups( but only ctrl + 5 and crtl +6 works)
Any suggestions would be appreciated

change the keyboard to be totally sure its a hardware problem. if it is, you obviously fucked it up. I hope it's a cheap one :P

I don't have to I am sure it's cause of that button. When I use the laptop buttons everything works, but laptop heats up too much and mu hand starts to sweat...well it gets ugly, that's why i use the keyboard(It's not cheap ;(

can you unbind F5 from any kind of command (ive never looked)?
