Few facts for you who think gosugamers ranking is something to follow for.

Boxer has played in highest level all his life even though last years he has not been THE Best. But Overrated? No. Someone who says so is clearly stupid arrogant shit.

How about checking liquidpedia for a refreshing how good Boxer has been:

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/BoxeR

Are you telling us that guy who has been progamer since year 2000 is overrated? He was beast and somehow he can still compete with these new centure nerds. That link was all about Boxer's Starcraft:Brood War career.

How about his SC2 career? He has been participating 5 times in GSL code S and now begins his 6th season in code S (January 2012). Somehow he showed again how to manage come back after being a while in code A.

How about little comparison between Boxer and the other 2 fellows you pointed out.

Where are Grubby and Moon? Grubby is below the level of many other european pro's and has not won anything big in SC2. That's what he has said himself. Still waiting for the big win:P.

What makes Grubby true patriot? His history? Why we should count his history of owning in WC3 if we do not count Boxers owning in Brood War.. which really is more technical and harder game anyways.

Or Moon? I mean.. Grubby and Moon are not bad players but how you can compare them to Boxer in SC2when they do not have experience competing in hardest league in the world? Moon was once Code S in season 3.. pretty long time ago.

Also what else comes to Boxer. It really is possible that we could not have esports as big as it is now without Boxer. He was the face of esports and still is. You cannot take respect of fan's. You have to earn it. Why do you think there's so much boxer fans out there? It's sick amount of fans comparing to any other progamer.

Gosugamers ranking is shit.

One last word to say: Is it possible that boxer tried something fancy in the game against Huk on Brood War ;)? How serious? Boxer's wife bming Huk meanwhile.. rofl? i'm sure they were pretty "serious" lol.

#4 nice post. Though I have to say that although GG.net ranking is not the most accurate, it can give a good representation of how foreign players are doing against each other/the koreans included.

Edit: actually i'll add to that. Sure number #30 (whoever that is) might not be as good as the 100th best korean but gosu rankings are of tournament results and so can give someone a bit of an idea how a player is going on an international scale.

what you dont get is that boxer was only at the beginning successful and then he was average. Grubby and moon on the other hand were in the whole warcraft 3 history some of the best, especially grubby who was consired not competive at some time won wcg 2008 and silver 2010 proofed he was still some of the best.

Had boxxer ever won wcg again after his military service??? No. And you dont know wc3 if you say broodwar is technical harder. Its pure ignorance to think that way, wc3 has a hero Principe with items, levels, shopping and creeping which means you had to play an rts game and rpg game at the same time.

Also there were night and day times and you had to pay upkeep if your supply went over 50 which was very important in high level gaming.

What does broodwar have for gameplay mechanics?? Nothing its just warcraft 2 with 3 different races while wc3 has 4 lol. Wc3 was a much more skilled game and you can see it how wc3 gamers are better than broodwar gamers in wc3, wc3 was all about knowing his enemies mind where he gonna creep and what he gonna do. Sc2 is now what units someone is gonna make and where he takes his third expansion. Broodwar was all about who can handle the unit max of 13 better. I remember how broodwar player wanted blizzard to keep the unit maximum selection of 13 so all this korean progamer can keep their job, *plz blizzard we want 13 unit max so boxxer doesnt lose his job* thats how literary these peoples wrote it in blizzard forums so pathetic.

nani and stephano for example were wc3 gamers and look at them, where are white ra and strelok??? Hehh?? I bet youre a broodwar player who thought he gonna kick ass in sc2 and then realizing how he blows to wc3 gamers in that game now.

also show me a ranking that is better than gosu who puts korea and europeans together?? Show me.

Ohh you made it so simple.

Have you checked backgrounds of GSL winners. Are they mostly bw or wc3 players? How many of top 16 in everyseason has been former bw player and how many of them bw player 8D...

Also i want to point out how you expecially compared Boxer to Grubby and Moon i just cannot see how you rate these two guys higher when they simply cannot get GSL anyway. How about these other wc3 hero sc2players? It's possible they can pick games from many very good players but it doesn't make them better than standard GSL players ;). How Stephano did in korea? Even though i rate stephano very high, he's not in same level than casual korean GSL finalist.

I bet you're from wc3 scene with your creeps and knowings 8D. I've played both games quite a lot. Though i dont think our personal experiences count too much :P.

Boxer wasn't overrated in SC1 but sure he is overrated in sc2.

Let me tell you Grubby and Moon both suck in SC2.
I doubt Grubby or Moon can take Boxer in SC2.
