The Chinese pros just arent what they used to be in Brood War and Warcraft 3.

Even F91 got stomped in ESCW a couple of months ago.

No PJ, Lx, Super, Phoenix66....

Loner failed miserably as well.

I am praying hard for non-mirror final, one Korean and other to be Sen probably. Can't really watch TvT again...

Nice joke bro!

Do you think this is a GSL from 2 months ago?

Terrans are getting raped in every single tournament, especially the foreign ones.
Bitching about Terrans is so old, it went out of fashion ages ago but people still find the need to do it even when Terrans are getting stomped everywhere.

More recently there have been a ton of more Protoss and Zerg mirror matches than there were ever Terran ones. I would take a TvT final 10 times over one more ZvZ or PvP, although it is highly unlikely.

Don't know what part of "non-mirror matches" you didn't understand. You are playing Terran, of course you are biased towards Terran race, same as me, I like watching ZvZ the most, then TvT(PvP doesn't count LOL). And not just Finals, GSL is overwhelmed with Terran players, maybe it isn't this month, but you still see tons of TvTs anyway, and even if I like watching ZvZ, it would be the same with ZvZ, it would get boring after 2 months.

Also, I never bitched about "Terran being OP" and I don't do it here neither, I just feel that Terran race is a bit better designed than other two races, that is all. Still, that doesn't matter much at highest level of play.

So, in the end, I don't know what your whole comment is about. I hope for TvZ/ZvP/PvT finals, even though, how you said, it probably will be "highly unlikely". Because I feel that only Huk, Idra and Sen are close to being on the same level as MKP and Supernova, but still far from Mvp.

We will see, time will tell.

Maybe I was a little too rude, but you still missed my whole point.

When you say "Cant really watch TvT a final again " it implies there have been a lot of TvT's recently.
GSL is an exception.

When was the last time you saw a non-Korean Terran win a major tournament or a non Korean finals TvT?
The top Korean players at MLG's don't count as you said MVP and the rest are a level above the rest of the world.

I sure as hell don't remember it. Maybe Select won something ages ago but I'm not even sure if it was anything major.

Especially after the patch, TvT in the later stages of a tournament has been almost non-existant. I would be glad to catch a few at this tournament in the deeper stages. It has been a while. There have been far more ZvZ's and PvP's as of late.

And I did not specifically say I want a TvT final, I said if it was going to be a mirror I'd rather have a TvT, not because I'm a Terran but because, firstly Zerg and Protoss mirror matches are relatively more of a coin flip matches unlike TvT where that has literally never been the case and secondly I think crowds and audiences hate ZvZ, again not saying this as a Terran but as a general spectator, remember Blizzcon? PvP is relatively better for watching compared to ZvZ but again it is much more of a coinflip.

But coming to the WCG bracket there is a good chance a lot of Terrans making it to the later stages as long as the Koreans manage to avoid themselves and I don't see them losing against anyone other than to one of their own countrymen. The skill gap is just too wide, maybe Huk can takeout MKP and have a shot against MVP both of whose TvP's are not very stellar but Huk himself has not shown good form of late so I doubt it and Idra as good as he is will lose to the Korean Terrans who will never allow him to settle down to play his macro game. Although one can never count out Sen if he manages to avoid Koreans until the later stages.
