"We’re being very cautious about making large swinging changes right now because at the highest level things are actually very strong"

This is ridiculously LOLworthy. At the highest level, every zerg in the world thinks they are underpowered.

Eh... focus on 2v2? Yeah sure, it's really imbalanced for sure... but does anyone care? Team games are only for fun... I mean, they're all ready fundamentally broken with the shared control and shared resources anyway...

Can they just fix the Marauders and we'll all be happy, please? :(

Blizzard:
You can go up and read on the forums at any one time and there are a bunch of different theories about balance and imbalance. We’re being very cautious about making large swinging changes right now because at the highest level things are actually very strong. The things that we’ll probably be addressing are the 2v2 and larger scale games. Ultimately, the 1 to 1 is the are we want to keep as sacred as possible, but as a result right now there are some things that we need to address in the 2v2 at the higher level. We’ll be looking at ways to do that without affecting the 1v1 balance.

“That’s not actually the case,” says Chris. “We have fewer Zerg players overall. I avoid playing Zerg as much as possible because I find them to be just more complex in general. Zerg, or rather larvae management is harder for me to deal with, so I don’t enjoy playing them as much.”

oh no shit. Even Blizz seems to see Zerg is more complex and harder to play, but its completly fine. Y fix 2/2 it sooo IMBA!

As I see it now the next patch will add chatchannels which is very nice but completly wont fix Zerg at all.

Ofc they dont wanna make any huge balance changes, Zerg might be underpowered but they arent THAT underpowered. If they nerf Terran and/or Protoss and buff Zerg at the same time it could be too drastical

Well I think first of all are Chatchannels really important, because Clanwars suck without them!
And there are somethings which should be balanced not only for Zerg.

I think T>P in earlygame but in lategame P>T and after the 1.1 Patch it was even more like that. Tanks were nerfed which were mostly played in lategame in TvP but Zealots get nerfed as well so early game became even more harder for PvT.

I dont know that much about PvZ just that P>Z and early game is better for Zerg now after the Zealot nerf. But still really hard matchup and earlygame for the Zerg.

And now to the TvZ.. Its mostly the best matchup to watch in my oppinion. Its just really imbalanced because the Terra got the upper hand in in the early because Reaper and/or Hellions are just so strong. But I think in Midgame its mostly even if the Terra goes Bio. In lategame and a Zerg on 3-4 Bases with Ultra/Lings got the Zerg mostly the upperhand, if the Terran is still on his Bio. But still the problem is, that Terra is much to strong in the earlygame, so that he can damage the Zerg so much, that he got a really hard mid and lategame as well. It reminds me a bit to Orc vs UD at Warcraft 3 where just one hero was destroying the whole early game of the matchup. Reaper/Hellions are pretty much the same.

All in all I think they should nerf Thores I think. I mean I dont play them in this mu because I love to play Bio in TvZ, but I think mech is to strong in this mu. Evenso I think Banelings are a bit to strong (plz dont flame me for that, its just my oppinion) in this mu. But thats the only thing thats so strong. But anyways there should be something which should be nerfed as well for this mu of the Terran. I just dont know what.

And btw seekermissel patch ftw I want to use Raven even more

Man after some of the pros read this, I think there may be many switching races. I mean, most of the top zergs have expressed interest in doing so but were waiting for blizzards response.

Blizzards response seems to be were going to take our sweet ass time balancing this game.

I mean, they said they're HOPING to get the next patch out by the end of the year. But we all know blizzard. It will come late. Sometime over the next 3 months, many (if not most) of the top zergs are going to switch races. It's almost a guarantee.
