Any tips on how to bind which buildings and units for each of theses numbers?
i usually do 1,2=a drone/scout drone 3=overlord 4-9 hatcheries
But i usually put 5 or 6 -9 hatcheries coz i need more bindings for armies.
so yea what do u guys use?
any links on this kind of stuff?

myself, in the beginning I use 1-6 for my main hatchery and 8 for my first overlord, then 1,3,5 for main hatch until I get fighting units, 2 for scouting drones (which I never use, though), 4,6 for 2nd hatch.
Lategame 1-5 for units, and F2-F4 for hatcheries

as I said, until I get fighting units, which means fighting units = 1-4, lategame maybe also 5.
Mainly 1-2 for units early on

a.c.a.b.
here's mine

1,2 - units in early game (overlord and scouting or expanding drone)
3,4,5 hatcheries maybe 5 for a building for upgs - den if I'm goin hydra just not to forget the upgrades when I have enough resources and the previous upg is ready

after that

1,2,3 maybe 4 units
5,6,7 hatcheries
8,9,0 burrowed units / scouting overlords / upgrading structures - hive and evo chambers

to be honest I am really happy early game when the hatches are binded 3,4 cause it's the easiest to go "s" something :)

a long time ago I saw or heard that some zerg progamers go with 1234 as their hatches and they don't switch them at all they play the entire game like that ;)

1 Hatchery
2 Ol - Switch to nat expo when made
3 Larvae at main hatchery
4 Ol
5-0 Units

Once you get close to capping or whenever you can go 3-0 for units if your APM is fast enough to keep up with the multi-tasking by clicking on the minimap to make your units from hatcheries.

I hotkeyed larvae at the start to be able to just quickly pop units once you get a setup around the 10-12 minute mark. You should be putting a hatchery down every minute if you're a hard eco player like I was.

Well it really depends on how u play:
Here are mine:

Early game:
1 and 3 = Main Hatchery
2 = Initial overlord (later switch to scouter drone if its ZvT)
4 = Hatchery at natural or 2nd hatch on ZvZ

(If ure thinking about how my hotkeys suck, its cuz i have small hands and i find it hard to place my initial hatchery at 4 ^^;;)

Mid/Lategame:
1 - X = Units
3 - x = Remaining hotkeys on hatcheries so i can double press those numbers and macro quickly

Units:
1 = usually Units i use ALOT: Zerglings, Mutas, Hyds, Ultras
2 - 4 = Units again, i usually place lurkers at 2 or 3
5 = I like placing Scourges on 5 cuz i often offrace with T alot and have tanks/vessels on this hotkey and i get used to the "number" to use either "magic" or "hugeass dmg"

Hotkeys change depending on my matchups: The most important thing is that those hotkeys suit you, and you can use it easily to play any games comfortably, enjoy

#10 nah its not really necessary to change on different MUs but u may sometimes do so :P like ZvT u need massive units but ZvZ its really muta and lings ^^;;

I do hotkeys simply:
0 and above producing buildings, (priority is based on the units' required build time: smallers come first and greaters come later, it may however change depending on the game, like if i start mass carrier. For hatcheries the order i create them)
9 and below units (priority is based on the units' strength or importance: strongers come first 9,8.. and weakers come later, spellcasters always come at latest. For zerg it is guardian, mutalisk/ ultralisk, lurker (depends on), hydralisk and zergling, defiler.)
Others:
ComSat station is always 0, rarely: 0,1.
Discovering unit is always 2.
First overlord, nexus and cc are always 9.
The border between units and building always depends on what is currently happening: I am preparing a fight i give more for units, i am recruiting i give more for units.
I never hotkey any other buildings.

I do that for all races, zerg too.
0+: ZERG (for you)hatcheries
9-: ZERG units
2: first 8-12 zergling at start
9: scouting overlord.
