Official SC2 Player Recruitment (29351 reads, 51 replies, 1 year ago)
This thread is used for all players who are currently looking for a clan. Please use this thread instead of making new ones in the forum.

A good post should include the following (Only a suggestion, but the more info you throw in, the better it looks and you will be taken a lot more seriously).

What is your name/nick. Have you accomplished anything, played in clans before or are you completely new to the SC2 world.

What is your goal as a SC2 player? What kind of ambitions do you have. (Do you intend to play in leagues or just have fun)

What kind of a player are you? Skill level range, age, time zone, location, voice communication and so forth.

Why should a clan recruit you? What kind of environment would you give people, be it friendly or professional.

Last words, got anything more to add. Put it here.

I would advice you to keep your post up to date. Let people know if you are still looking. This will help people and your selves in the long run as well.

This thread will be used strictly for players looking for a team all other posts will be deleted.

Hello.
My nick is Ragnarok.242. I have played StarCraft for some years, but never achieved something great. I have been part and co leader of SC clans before.
Im protoss player currently ranked 24th in Diamond league in my respective division with 379 points 37 victories and 28 defeats.
Altho Im not great player, I think that with enough training with good partners I will improve greatly.

Im searching for a clan of active, skilled yet friendly and good mannered players to train and play with in CW`s and leagues. Of course I dont expect to be let to play in such events from the start.

I play on the EU servers, my timezone is CET+2 (Bulgaria). I am serious and organized person, I dont drink so I wont be missing CW`s cause of being wasted or other such stupid reasons. Also Im working during the summer and after that Im full time student, so its a given there will be times that I wont be able to play cause of more important business.

Raised on Blizzard RTS's, I've entered into Starcraft 2 wanting to play competitively in the the major leagues and tournaments. I am in the top 10 of my Diamond division as Terran and I'm looking for a solid clan to train and compete with. Time zone is CST. As a college student I can remain active and dedicated to improvement. To get in touch send me a PM here. Thanks.

Wow, I do not think I've done this in awhile.

What is your name/nick?

In-game nickname = Sony (Brood war aka is as it is above FT.aCt)Sony )

Have you accomplished anything, played in clans before or are you completely new to the SC2 world?

Previous clans are FT.aCt), MbN (v.000 from Pgt), nAo (.Ace tag)

What is your goal as a SC2 player? What kind of ambitions do you have. (Do you intend to play in leagues or just have fun)?

If they make any leagues aside from in-game, yes I would take part in them. Goals? Can't really declare any seeing how the game has just recently came out and still being patched thoroughly. So really can't truly declare any real goals other than top whatever Diamond league I am currently in or moved too.

What kind of a player are you? Skill level range, age, time zone, location, voice communication and so forth?

Originally Zerg player in brood war, now Protoss for Starcraft 2. In BW I was a B/B+ 1;1 in iCCup. Age: 23, time zone: EST, location: Florida, Voice Comm: Vent

Why should a clan recruit you? What kind of environment would you give people, be it friendly or professional?

Highly competitive individual who will continue to progress even after long BW break. Would be more than happy to play training games which can be any MU or even any strategy numerous times.

Last words, got anything more to add. Put it here? If any questions arise or need to get in contact with me just PM on here for more contact info or just chit chat.

What is your name/nick. Have you accomplished anything, played in clans before or are you completely new to the SC2 world:

Ingame name is Encrypt, 899 (character code), i played a little in sc1 played quite a lot of wc3 but never on a tournament level.

What is your goal as a SC2 player? What kind of ambitions do you have. (Do you intend to play in leagues or just have fun)

I wish to join a clan to play better people and get better myself and get to the skill level where we can compete in tournaments.

What kind of a player are you? Skill level range, age, time zone, location, voice communication and so forth.

I would say that i am an above average player, i am currently near the top of my division in platinum, i play diamond players mostly and win a good bit more than i lose, I am 19 (20 in october), GMT Timezone, Live in the United Kingdom and have no problems using ventrilo or any other VoIP program.

Why should a clan recruit you? What kind of environment would you give people, be it friendly or professional.

Because i have the drive and time available to excel at this game, i believe with the right clan mates i could increase my skill level exponentially and quite fast too because i believe myself to be a very fast learner (not saying that I'm terrible now by the way)

Last words, got anything more to add. Put it here.

I am not interested in clans that play primarily in the team format (such as 2v2s, 3v3s) I prefer 1v1 matches, apart from that I think I've stated pretty much everything i could at the moment, If anyone would be interested in taking me in, just drop me a PM on here i suppose or contact me me on IRC (Encrypt).

Esc.mouse
My name is Daniel Eriksson and is called Mouse. Played some BW on very low level but was in a fleeting moment a part of the Swedish team BW.

My SC2 goal is to become platinum/diamond lvl. Currently mid-lvl gold.

I'm 22 years old and live in Sweden. So I'm GMT +1/+2 depending on summer time and such. I live in the lovley little town called Umeå(Naugrim and Merz is from here to ^^). At the moment I do not have a Microphone but I guess if you demand em I'll get one.

I think a clan should reqruit me becouse I'm very engaged in SC2 and the community. I might not be the best player in your rooster but I'm the player that will be there for every league-game / clanwar.

With Regards
Daniel

Tenryu
Hello, my user account is Tenryu #963 . Due to being deployed in Iraq i was never able to play the beta so i started the whole SC2 scene a bit late. I hope to improve and play more SC2, but i would like to join a decent team that participates in clan leagues.

Im currently a random player at 1400 pts Diamond(trying to get a feel for all matchups and race timings, etc) before i find a race im comfortable with. Ive played BW for about 10 years and was about 6700+ high 1v1 and 10400+ high 2v2 on ICCup. The most reputable team i played with was team [LighT] from 2007-2009(and then i deployed from 2009-2010)

I havent been playing with anyone from the SC:BW scene so SC2 has been quite dull for me. Playing by myself is hindering my experience and practice for SC2, and its not a good feeling. If possible i would enjoy any team invite that currently participates in any leagues so i can get back into the SC scene and improve.

I think i'd be a promising aspect to any team i join. I rarely missed clan wars while i was in [LighT] and was an active player. In due time, when ive figured the game out more(doing it the best/oldschool way, trial and error ^_^) im sure i will greatly improve. Only thing thats keeping me from actively playing SC2 and improving as much as i want at the moment is.. loneliness :(. SC2 is too anti-social because no chat channels.

Hello to all StarCraft 2 players ;)
My name is Dejan Blumenschein and I am coming from a nice country of Croatia.
I am playing StarCraft 2 from BETA, and now I moved to a battle.net EU.
At the moment I am using terran race to crush my opponents, joke of course ;)
I am in Platinum league, holding rank 1 with 1400 points, and aswell waiting for blizzard to move me in Diamond league.
My stats at the moments are 85:48, and surely it will be even more better.

I have been playing WarCraft 3 TFT for like 6 years, and been in many good clans (it, play.it, mym) when I was at the peak of my TFT career.

Now I am looking for some nice and friendly clan, to boost up my skill even at the higher level. And ofcourse to compete in many leagues and tournaments.

I am living in Croatia, which its CET+1 time zone. I am speaking and writting english on a solid level.

Why should any clan recruit me? Becouse I will work hard to prove myself a worthly recruit. Also I will be very friendly to my clanmates, helping them to improve their strategy and so forth.

You can try to contact me through this site, or at xf: krkandojaja.
Hope the answer will come soon as possible ;)

Best regards....
....Dejan Blumenschein

Hello there :)

I'm a 1500 diamond protoss playing on the EU server.
link to my profile in bnet
http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/231461/1/Lupoo/

I took part part in a couple of tournaments, but I havent accomplished anything yet.

I play everyday and i also join all of the weekly tournaments i heard of, such as
go4sc2, competo cup, craft cup, zotac, scvready, 4pl, and cyborg cup. Usually I lose in the 4th-5th round.

Ive been playing wc3 since it came out but unfortunately i was playing only custom maps. I also have some exp in BW but it is something like 200 games.

Im looking for a clan with BW background, who can point my mistakes, Im an easy learner, so I guess I would advance very fast if I have the proper help.

Some of my biggest achievements are playing vs some of the top players in gosugamers, I made a list, :P

Lupoo < MaNa! (Go4SC2 R5)
Lupoo! > Adelscot (Competo R2)
Lupoo < LucifroN! (AI Invitational R1)
Lupoo < MoMaN! (Go4SC2#47 R3) (17/10/2010)

The biggest tournament I took part was AI invitational (500euro prize pool), but unfortunately I lost to Luci in the first round. :(
And also my biggest win was vs Adelscot in competo cup second round.
(DT all in for those who wonder how I did it (map DO))

Helloooo there :)

I am an NA 1600 Pt. Diamond Protoss, with a pretty solid w/l (164-120) looking for a serious team, as I am looking for that slight boost in knowledge to hopefully get over the hump. I have recently been playing in a few tournaments with mixed results.

More importantly, I would like a nice atmosphere with cool guys, as I am as chill as they come ;) Ingame, I try my best not to BM(hopefully everyone does;))

I am very good with criticism, and I know with an experienced players help I can get over the edge.

I come from an FPS PC background, so I have really only been playing RTS (SC2) for about 2 1/2 months, but I have taken it VERY seriously since then and hope to continue to do so

Thanks, Mike
