Sure I did, and I do still play. More fun to actually feel like your micro does still exist.

My friends who don't have the beta are always calling me on to BW. Surprisingly I play like I always have played, I didn't try to rally workers to mins, or MBS. Very strange.

I played 15 games of SC/BW today. It's a beautiful game, you can never take that away.
SC2 is fine and dandy and all that good stuff. What SC2 lacks is balance and structure/flow. In order for it to be even near as good as BW it will take a lot of time. I think in the future SC2 can become greater than bw, time will tell.

Honestly i really think Sc1 is better, but that is just my opinion. Sc2 is a good game but it will never fully replace sc1. Sc1 is a legendary game that can never be touched because its a perfected masterpiece.
I've been playing sc since early 2005, and i dont see any point in quitting just yet.

I just played 5-6 games today, first time since sc2 beta came out in January and holy shit i forgot how good sc:bw really is.

Best game of all time imo, SC2 is alot of fun but atm its not nearly as good as SC:BW

#24 you know how much years it took to balance Broodwar till the end ? 4 years ? SC2 will go that way too.

on topic: i still play some games, but i focus on SC2 now. But when i play broodwar, it feels a bit slower than before, dunno why.

I'm not playing SC2 until the retail release.

btw for people living in the UK, you can get a beta key by preordering Starcraft 2:

I just played my first game of BW after almost a year of not playing, and after a few weeks of SC2 beta...
Damn the first 5 minutes were hard! :D

But eventually that good ol' feeling just came back and it turned out to be a really nice match. I like SC2, but it really doesn't have the same feeling that BW does. I will definitely play SC2, and even less BW in the future. But BW is such a great game to come back to. <3

When i first had my sc2 key i was like yaayy massgames! then after about a week I got bored and asked myself is it necessary to start sc1 again because now i have no games to play :(

Well, i did and it's still so much better - everything but the graphics tbh! Still gonna buy sc2 just for the storyline at least.

I prefer SC2 myself, but everyones different ^_^ I think once they have all the SC2 expansions out and given a couple more years of tweaking we'll have a game worthy to stand side by side the mighty Broodwar, but for it to get to that stage we all gotta give it a chance =]

Long live Broodwar
To the future of Starcraft 2 :)
