BWCL - Start of New Season (5154 reads, 13 replies, 1 year ago)
We finally set a new date for the official start of the BWCL Season 35. The season will kick off at the 28th of March at 7pm CET.
The problem for the delay was not a technical or an organizational one. It is just due to the fact that there were way too less clans signed up on the Waitinglist. And still, there are not enough Clans, so if you want to do us a favor, spread the word, tell every clan or clanleader to sign up! Another problem is, that there are way more clans signed up than actually are on the Waitinglist! Guys, this is important! You have to join the Waitinglist, otherwise your clan will not be considered for the new season! It does not matter if you are signed up on the homepage, as long as you are not on the waitinglist you will not be put in the new tables.
So to make it clear: Every Clan has time till Thursday, the 25th of March to join the Waitinglist! Clans who are not on the Waitinglist at Thursday after 8pm CET will only have the chance to join the 4th league. Tables will be online at Friday the 26th of March.

If you got any problems, feel free to contact any admin or post in our Board!

So I hope, we get some more clans on the waitinglist! BW is not yet dead ;)

Seriously, Im currently adding clans which are registered to the waitinglist myself. It's unbelievable how many of u are unable to put a simple default lineup and join the waitinglist :D

And by the way, as mentioned in our forums already, due to SC2 and a lot of clans losing interest in BW, there are way less clans than expected. This means that a lot more clans ascending to higher divisions ;). So on Friday u better check higher divisions for ur clan -.-

And just to say it again, BWCL will go on till there are no more clans playing in the league. BWCL will not disappear with the release of Sc2! So you decide how long this league will be up and running :)

Also if anyone wants to support us, u are welcome, check this news for more information:

Again: it's not enough to just register on the site. You need to join the waitinglist!

just some updates etc.
we encountered some technical difficulties and working on it. tables should be online at latest by 2pm CET.

since the tables are theoretically done, I can at least announce some changes which will be also explained in detail in our news tomorrow. The 4th leagues are gone. We have now only divisions 1 to 3. Since there are a bit more clans, than actually needed to fill up the 3rd league, we introduced a so called "Qualification-League". The idea of this substitute of the 4th leagues is, that every clan has the possibility of playing in the BWCL (since we never told clans to gtfo because the league is "full"). Also with this qualification league we give u the possibility of joining the league despite it already started. So if clans still want to take part, just register and join the waitinglist and u will be put into the "Q-League". More details etc. will follow around 4pm CET today (when im back from university :D).

Tables are online and fixed now!
If you see any bugs, problems or have complaints, post in our board in the related thread.
Also I recommend you to add your complete playerlist to your squad. The 3-day-rule will not apply for the 1st playday. but the players have to be in the squad by sunday 7pm anyway!
Additionally, the old lineup rule will stay in force. This will may be changed during the season, when we implement the lineupmaking over the page.
