What should I do when I'm like playing at half of my usual skill? It's getting annoying to lose against noobs I used to rape with ease....can't understand this...

Yeah I've been playing literally every waking moment for the past 3 weeks and these past 5 days I've been playing like ass. WTF. Although the advice of playing another race for 2-3 days does seem promising. I'll try that.

same thing happens all the time. I find there are two solutions:

1. Care a lot less: Just play for fun for a bit. Do whatever builds you want even if they won't work. If you are aren't trying to win, you will eventually get back into your groove, although it might take a while.

2. Care a lot more: Obliterate all distractions. Put on intense music. Put on /dnd. Ladder, and do not accept defeat as an option. If you lose, actually give a fuck, and try harder next time. I feel that when I do this I will win a lot more as most players in ladder don't play 100% (at least I almost never do).

just relax. change race for a few days and massgame with that instead (preferebly your worst mu if its not the mirror) for example youre z and hate to play vs T play T for like a week then get back to Z ^^; and feel alot better with everything

it means you're leveling up actually, take a break and when you play again you'll be stronger. Brain has to adapt to change it's not 100% time efficient as you except.

Take a break. There was a time on summer 2007 where i woke up at 11am and played till 11pm (progamer life lol). I was playing with P for 2 months and then took a looooooooooooong break. I came back and changed my race to T and then to Z. This way, i could find that Z was a better race for me O.o I became MUCH better than back then.

ALSO, you could try playing another race, and for example if you're Terran and hate playing versus zerg, try playing Zerg vs a Terran, see what they do to you if you lose, and what you could do vs other Zergs and learn like they do, having fun meanwhile & relaxin'.
