Artosis was only being rude to void because he is the B teamer that got ret kicked out of the eSTRO house. If it wasn't for void lieing to his coaches, ret would not of been removed from the team.

Even if artosis asked him to play against kawaii, he still has the right to state his opinion on the player. Personally if someone lied to the coaching staff and had a really good foreigner removed for beyond stupid reasons, I would be pretty pissed off at the guy too.

In the end, it's artosis's career over there, and if he wants to risk being in trouble for stating his opinion on someone, then that's his choice, and probably one he thought about before even asking void to play.

jaedong-x17 you speak english perfectly, you live in korea? it's kind of rare to find perfect english speaking koreans in korea, especially ones that talk like a foreigner being BM in many different ways and know everything that is going on in the foreign scene / and be in X17. Why would you even say something like ' i saw artosis holding hands with a guy ' LOL ? !? ?? ..... The fact that you wrote ' No Lie ' kind of proves that you are either lieing, or just writing this to grab the focused attention on what the thread is about , to yourself. I'm not really sure nor do i care but seriously, why would you say something so stupid? I don't agree with when artosis is bias and with some of the things he says but please are you really that full of hatred and anger with artosis that you are going to try and make random allegations that hes gay with no proof? lol .. regardless even if he was gay, i don't think thats rellevent , proves anything about artosis or would change the majority of the communities opinion about him.

Actually Drake is right this time... cmon... Kawaii? There are soo many better nonkorean players... yeah, why not kolll? or fenix? or some other young and skilled player?

I think pretty much everyone agrees that Artosis tends to hype up his friends or other American players...

Im also pretty sure he has the right to choose anyone he wants considering it's his event. It's not like there are rules saying which players must play. Just be thankful he even takes the damn time to make these showmatches for the community.

Damn soo many people ungrateful.

The fact that my sig says im in Korea means im in korea. But the way I write speaks for itself.

You don't have to believe me I don't care. If people tell me not to troll when, i'm going to guesstimate, 50% of the community has trolled before I believe I can once in a while. When is the truth trolling btw?

jd-x17 im pretty sure i never said the word troll once. Just pointing out the fact that you write un neccessary, un intelligent statements. Last time I checked when creating an account on gosugamers.net you choose your nationality, therefor anyone can pretend to be korean right? ...

Born in Korea moved to America, came back to korea to make easy cash?

And it was for that one kid who told me to stop trolling, which I am I guess. But un intelligent statements... all my statements are true so how are they un intelligent :)

Artosis is an un-talented idiot who really has no right to say anything but broadcast :)

Well...sure it is Artosis' event...but that doesnt neglect that there are many better choices than kawaii. furthermore I dont thik that artosis asked void directly...I guess artosis asked the coaching staff or manager and then void was send out to play against kawaii (that's what I hear out of the vods).

Artosis is doing a _great_ job overall but I think that we should be allowed to criticize his decisions (in a friendly way).

Artosis
hey guys, let me clear up a few things. i don't like to see the same uninformed stuff being said over and over.

firstly, i am friends with pretty much every single high level foreigner player, so saying i choose my friends a lot is a little bit silly.

about me shit-talking void: he really caused big problems for one of the greatest guys in our community, ret. i think everyone agrees with me when i say ret is a really respectable, nice, gosu player. he really put himself on the line coming out to Korea, and provided really great entertainment for us all. void really fucked that up quite a bit, and i will never speak kindly about him. (and yes, ret is a good friend of mine irl). i do not go up and ask progamers nicely for these matches. void is an employee of the company i work for. he has to play the match if told to. they know i hate him, don't worry.

about who plays which matches: again, as i said above, i am friends with all the top guys. so that really and truly is not why certain people get picked. i would like to point out a few factors that go into who gets picked for certain matches:

1) i personally try to give matches firstly to players who are considering going to korea. for instance, ret had a few before he came over.

2) time zones, and who is online when i can get a match factors in heavily. i REALLY want to give kolll some matches, but often times when i have access to the players for it, kolll is simply asleep. as are many other players you guys want to see. i squeeze them in whenever i can though.

3) i can't say too much about this, but sometimes coaches or managers ask for specific criteria on a player, such as age, race, country, etc. (this is why right now im focusing quite heavily upon young terran players).

anyways, i always welcome suggestions and criticism, but just wanted to clear the air on some incorrect assumptions you guys are making.

cheers!

Do not feed the troll.

JD and doty locked. Ignore them.

Personally I think Void is an asshole ans deserves to be called an asshole.

The only problem I have when these showmatches showoff players like kawaii, is that perhaps Koreans will think that's the top level foreigners. I don't know if they understand that we have better players than that.

Artosis got the right stuff to back up what he says. Personaly we need people like this to go against koreans and let them know that we won't take that much shit.

Atm I'm in school, but when I'll get back I will definitely watch it. And I don't really care who goes up against the koreans, as long as it's being done. I'm all in for that.
