Hey I have been wondering how many of you think that the Starcraft 2 Banshee's voice and potrait should be changed to male instead of female. I think its much better as a male since the medivac is supposedly gonna be female.

You mean battle units male, support units female? Idk I think its ok the way it is, the I mean, infantry are male, mech are male, air female its good to me :)

With Banshee being a female, Terrans got 2 Female units which is good. making all units to be same gender is boring as hell...

Banshee is sort of a 'remake' or a tribute to Valkyrie I suppose.
So that sort of explains the fact they're bringing a fighter plane chick back.

And that's definetely not bad.

Remember how cool vakyrie was?
A chick with German accent saying "You're being very naughty".

I don't really care too much about the voices. Blizzard has always done a decent job on the unit voices and such.


I think Banshee is yet another Terran unit that is just so awesome, and more like "real" military units. Blizzard has done a much better job so far on Terran's having a "Science Fiction yet realistic" feel than they did in the original SC game. Basicly medivacs that shoot beams of light is the only departure from that trend, but even that is forgivable and seems to make more sense than a girl running around with a heal gun in the middle of a shootout...


Anyway, Bravo to blizzard on Terran and Protoss so far.

Zerg still sux tho. Needs to go "back to the drawing board". They just seem to have almost no creativity nor innovation in the developement of SC2 zerg. It looks like some random BW zerg units with a 3d model and some name changes.
