Brought to you by: http://www.thebgh.com/3v3 Hunters Tournament Ok, I know I've said we're gonna hold this tournament 1 week after the BGH tournament, but we decided it's better to keep them 2 weeks apart. So from now on, there should be some kind of an event every 2 weeks for you to enjoy. And now after our very successful first BGH tournament, it's time for a Hunters tournament. Even though in our BGH tournament we saw some of the best BGH teams and players participating, I felt there was kinda lacking the casual BGH players who'd just want to have some fun. Also there was an absence of gosu low map players besides 1 team (TT1, Chosen, Gundam and Yan). So hopefully those things will change now since the Hunters map is more familiar to those players than BGH. We've learned a lot from our first tourney and we'll try to do our best to eliminate all kinds of nuisance that shows up during a tournament. The biggest of those nuisance is the waiting time for some teams in Double Elimination system. So we're gonna leave that up in the air for now and if a lot of teams show interest, we're gonna do a Single Elimination system to keep tourney run much smoother. Of course, if you'd like to see Double Elimination and don't mind waiting that much, write here in comments your thoughts, so we can decide more appropriately. Another nuisance is team names in brackets. So now to eliminate those questions in the channel like "who the hell is team pinky toes?!" or whatever, we're gonna enter names of Team Captains into the bracket so you can msg him in time to play his team. Also, there will most likely be a stream of Finals or something, we'll keep you updated on that. REGISTRATION Registration process has been changed from last tourney so read it carefully please. Every team can register up to 4 players, with the 4th being an optional substitute. Every team needs to have a Team Captain (who can be a player in that team of course) who will speak in the name of the whole team and handle the registration process. Now, there won't be a sign up process like last time since a lot of teams sign up and don't come, and a lot of teams don't sign up and come anyways. So this time, sign up will be at the day of the tourney. We'll have a bot in op TheBGH channel at iccup few hours before tourney starts and Team Captains can whisper 'TheBGH' acc with their Team Name and Players. There will be a forum thread with the list of signed up teams, so check it before tourney starts to make sure your team is added. Hopefully this will simplify things a bit, and all you need to do is come on time! Also this way people who don't have allies or missing one player can come and try to find one in the channel and just whisper an admin if they gather enough players! Things required to be explicitly said: - Obs is allowed only if BOTH teams agree to allow obs. (Except for admins and potential referees, who get to obs any game they want). - iCCup AH Launcher is mandatory with both Anti-Hack and Lan Latency turned ON. - The map on which all games to be played must be the official Kespa version of Hunters (download here). - There is no race restrictions, but it's NOT allowed to pick race after countdown starts. - A bug which allows your workers to remain stacked while moving/attacking is forbidden (normal worker slide is allowed). - Allied mines and lurkers are forbidden.
