I know there has been some threads about this before, but I just thought that it might have come some new information about this, with the beta?
I'm specially wondering about the graphic card, will it take more then from a game like WoW?

/Thanks,Mrwl

3.2 quad core
8gig ram
20 gig HD space
56 kbit/s for B.net 2 (because of its gosuness and its fucking brand new)
2gig VGA 512bit

also by the time blizz releases SC2, these specs will become dirt cheap so.. be happy they are delaying it :D :D :D
Blizzard in now on a DISASTER in SLOW-MOTION ..

Im honestly comparing SC2 to Dawn of War which yes is a pretty old game but has very good visuals and can have loads of units on screen in big battles. My guess would be:

PROVIDING THAT YOU HAVE MEDIUM GRAPHICS SETTINGS:

RAM: 1GB for 1vs1, 2GB for 3v3 etc
Graphics card: a good 256 one

I want to be able to play this games on a netbook later on while travelling. But today the netbooks are pretty weak.

1,6ghz intel dualcore
2gb ram
intel gma 950 mobo graphs..

I wonder if the game is even playable on medium graphics with this?

you won't be able to play on a netbook before some years .

I guess in 3/4 years , what we call nowadays notebooks are going to be Netbooks.

yeah .. i forgot a link where you buy another tower just to power the GPU separately.. which likely is true >:)

Someone verified to be from the blizzard dev crew posted about this on a mac forum some time ago. He said they were testing it on computers with GPU as slow as the ati x1800. That means if you have a somewhat new computer with a dedicated graphics card you'll be able to run it just fine.

This also means the integrated gpu, gma950, probably will not suffice.

from Dustin & Chris interview:
- What is the current PC specs requirements for Starcraft 2?
▲ Dustin: It's not final, but you need a graphic card that supports at least Pixel Shader 2.0, as well as a Dual or Quad core CPU. But the high performance single-core CPUs will be able to play the game.

Actually all the requirements speculations en the fansites, are actually pretty low, so I don't think requirements are something to worry about, even if you don't have a solid graphic card, you have enough time to buy one.
