Thx guys. Yeah it's not that much of 'real' hardcore, maybe more of Happy HC, or Hard dance or whatever :)

But it's still my 1st mix, so I think I'll be doing some better ones in the future, hopefully ^^

4# Ya that sounded wicked -__-

Nowadays ppl say Hardcore from 2 actual genres and mushi's mix is from the first one

1. Happy Hardcore
(Which is a form of dance music typified by a very fast tempo (Around 160–180 BPM), often coupled with solo vocals, and sentimental lyrics. Its characteristically 4/4 beat "happy" sound distinguishes it from most other forms of breakbeat hardcore, which tend to be "darker". In its original incarnation, it was often characterized by piano riffs, synth stabs and spacey effects.). But the problem is that the sound isnt same as back in the 90's, It has evolved really much and moved on, to even fatter and crispier electric bass. So now some ppl are saying real happy hardcore "oldskool" and the new sound happy hardcore. I think like most of u know, this genre is @ it biggest in UK, all the major artists and label are there, also most raves & events of that kind. The UK guys call their new sound infact "UK Hardcore", not Happy Hardcore (yae well some still do).

2. Gabber/Gabba
(is a style of electronic music and a subgenre of hardcore techno. "Gabber" is a dutch word which literally means "buddy" or "friend". Although in the late 1980s, a house variant from Detroit first reached Amsterdam (the Netherlands), it was the producers and DJs from Rotterdam who evolved it into a harder house variant which we today know as "Gabber" style. The essence of the gabber sound is a distorted kick sound, overdriven to the point where it becomes clipped into a distorted square wave and makes a recognizably melodic tone.

Infact they're both subgenres of *Hardcore Techno* so imo its justified both to be called as "Hardcore" anyways nowadays all those UK Hardcore albums are names as Hardcore too. "pure hardcore","true hardcore", "hardcore addict", "hardcore underground", "hardcore adrenaline" etc...

Anyways back to the mixing,
Generally it was good mushi, thumbs up. Tho u still wanna pay more attention more to basses and freq mixing. But good one anyways ;)
