Just remember that while a collossus might go down hard from a tank, immortals only take 10 damage from each tank attack! Immortals are THE counter to siege tanks now.

which is actually no counter at all considering EMP is now a 1.5 tier ghost ability :/ I wonder if that's a little overpowered such low tier

10 years ago before all patches to SC it was IMBA too, Corsairs web was like 2 minutes long, Terrans dropships were much slower than they are now and PSI storms were so powerful that 1 storm could kill about 5 siege tanks! I said don't worry about balance, they will fix everything if they want SC2 to be a tournament game (and Im sure they want) :)

The two things that I'm most worried about (no, actually I'm scared of them, I believe they'll destroy the gameplay) are that the mothership takes half of the screen (you honestly can't see shit when a mothership appears) and that the queen is still a hero-unit instead of just a normal caster unit like science vessel and arbiter in SC. The idea of a unit that you can't mass produce belongs to the RPG-genre, not to RTS.
These two ideas don't belong to the SC universe. The main idea behind SC is massing units, sending them to fight and massing units again. Of course it's not that simple in the end, e.g. you'll always end up keeping certain units for a long time - but only because of cost and effectiveness of these units, not because they're damn hero units.
If you want to have an individual unit in SC - WORK FOR IT!! Control it like Boxer and never let it die. That's how it works. You shouldn't keep a unit forever just because it's meant to be kept alive. In SC every single unit is meant to die a heroic death at some point.
The queen is the cornerstone of the zerg defenses? What the fuck, is that the solution to your lack of imagination Blizzard? Can't you think of a better concept that solves the problem of wasting drones? It works in SC, why shouldn't it work in SC2?!
Blizzard has gotten really uncreative and unimaginative since the release of D2. Afaik they haven't changed one single thing about SC2 that the community is worried about. Instead they keep making it worse and build in ridiculous gas mechanics that are more disturbing than interesting. I don't understand how they can't see that. They probably don't listen to criticism anymore. They probably got too much of it. It's like they can't believe that almost 50% of their work is complete crap.
Yeah, the gas mechanics are the 3rd thing that I'm really afraid of. It makes me think I shouldn't buy SC2 no matter how cool the rest of the gameplay might be.
Damn, I forgot about MBS, smartcast, automining..... crap, this game is going to be crap.

I don't really care whether or not the Thor remains to be built by SCV or now by a Factory. All that I care about in relation to Thor is that it is kept in the game and that it keeps its awesomeness. My friend told me that it has lost it's two big guns at the back. Is this true? Could anybody tell me whether or not has happened?

Imo Thor should have been scrapped long time ago, concept sucks (biped with size of a mountain? such nonsense can fly only in anime, sorry... it is smaller now, but it's even more stupid given its overall clumsiness. Not to mention that original 'built by SCV' thing was utter stupidity - i can't imagine hi-tech piece of weaponry being built by a nigga in a powered suit in the middle of the desert) and it has no role to fulfill - blizz people try hard to find anything Thor might be good at but fail all the time.

I agree. its like they got an OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) about the Thor and couldn't let go. The longer they work on it the harder it is to let go. Its a lot of invested sunk cost thats why its still in. It has become their baby.
I like the walkertanks of Battlefield 2142 better. Even the walkers in The relatively unknown Emperor of Dune look better.

They can force the Thor on us by somehow making other Anti-air have a real bad achilles heel.

Steal unitconcepts from other games like WC3 like blink to Stalkers. There is no shame in that if it's fun and well implemented.
Just don't put in long animations or too much spell and ability cooldown that drags the pace of the game. Thats one of the things that drags WC3 IMO.

but you CAN imagine a nigga in a powersuit building building ANY OTHER HIGH TECH PIECE OF EQUIPMENT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD like say a Science facility (fuck the factory and barracks) or a CC which is complex technology for assimilating the gathered minerals and gas and also a production line ...
oh and by the way with that redneck accent I guess it's a white guy and he's just very dirty / there's little light inside there or both ...

Take a scale, try to balance only 1 side of the scale. What do you get? Your weirdness.
