just put 1st or 2nd supply to the right of your barrack and go back forth between

build SCV constant
scout properly
build enough marine to deal with his gate, until your tank or vult comes in
you don't need all the scv on gas early game, most player get gas earlier with 11th scv to stop from probe harrassment, if you aren't using the gas, then you don't need it and you are better off getting extra minerals to get supplies on time

Don't need a wall, unless you like to get your factory very fast, or get your 2nd factory faster than usual

With wall you don't need many marines; handy for 2 fact builds, that is probably the only time put 3 scv on gas tvp all early game is when I wall, because you don't need more than one marine usually.

Had the same problem a while back.
A friend of mine would only go for 2 gate zeal rushes and I could never stop it. So here is what I learned:

1. Never play on the standard (build-in) StarCraft maps. They are not balanced for all races. There are some that don't have no entrance so the only option for you is to use bunkers and even then you'll sack your economy that you won't be able to stop the goons with range that will follow.

2. Scout! You should scout with the SCV that was building the 8 Supply and I think you should have no problem. You'll probably see a 2 gate, or if you scout early you'll see he is skipping the gas for way long. Careful, he might be doing a proxy rush.

3. If you see he is going a zeal rush build - don't panic! Continue your build towards Factory. Make a bunker on the edge (near the cliff) and wall with 2 SCVs (that is not such a loss). Use 4-6 rines (4 of which in bunker). Now you could easly go to 2 factory vulture + mines. You'll get some kills and could even manage a good contain on the toss. This totally depends on scouting tho. Keep the SCV as long as possible in his base!

4. Go for a wall in. Here I can't give you much help since I find it rather gay and love to see pro players just go for the standard 4 rines on entrance (barracks next to supply or CC for microing) and then pown the protoss. And I do often see that terran players overuse wall and either turtle too much or get their ass harassed with ranged goons and often lose.

P.S. You may totally disagree with me but I know that in the last games I played I never lost to any zeal rush except one (a proxy in my base).
And my advice is PLAY ZERG then you'll get bunker / cannon rushed but atleast stopping 2 gate is a bit easier after you master it (i think).

Uhh...Some Builds:

#1:
10rax(dont que the 10th scv, get rax while depot is building)
12gas
15depot
17factory
etc.. keep constant marines.

#2:
Wall-In

#3:
[BARRACKS][depot]
Have your rax positioned directly to the left of a depot, and have the depot be on the southern part of the rax, 1 marine can fit in there. IF your minerals are to the left of your CC (IE: 7 on Blue Storm / 11/1 on Othello) then..
[CC][BARRACKS[DEPOT]
^-- will allow you to safely keep 3 marines firing at zealots while not being able to be hit..

Note: the marines go in between the rax/depot and the cc/rax/depot

#4:
10rax/11rax :)

#5 hm... right now I see that maybe he ment that early 1, 2 zealot harass. I thought 2 gate zeal rush.

Anyway, yes #2 is right. Also you could place your barracks next to your CC (atleast I've seen a lot of pro players do it) and you can lift it when you no longer use it.

lol if you have problem walling with depot and rax why not spam depot so he cant get his units in without destroying them or drop, but you would have to do the same XD

well i do agree about getting a tank with mode on, XP if he plans to go all out lotsys but oh well all depends on what your opponent use

Wall-in with 2depots and 1rax on your cliff. Blocks even scouting probes out. If a zealot comes and starts damaging your depot for a way in, pull 2-3scvs out from mining and repair. By then, enough rines should've been pumped out of that lone rax to fend off later zlot rush.

If a zealot does get in however, or even worse, you just didn't wall in (at your level, I recommend walling in), micro! By the time 1st zlot comes, you should have about 3-4 rines. The zlot chases one of them, pull that rine back while your other 2-3 fire on him. The zlot will change targets out of frustration, now pull the newly chased rine out while the others open fire freely.

It's good to be back. ^^
