"dying to M&M rush , losing your 4 sunken colonies , yes , I think this is imba

there's no reason why M&M should be so powerful so early , since the game is the same as in Starcraft original for zerg , in early game ; while for terran it's far different , M&M is FAR more powerful than marines who were losing 10 HPs when using stimpack , and who couldn't be extremely quickly healed when attacking sunken colonies : same early game for zerg as in SC original, far more powerful terran : either SC original is imba , or it's Broodwar : that's pure logics ! the answer is : Broodwar is imba , yes.

btw it's not the only imba that exists in the game ; corsairs/reavers is imba , at least when they have disruption web , and I said how disruption web should work to solve this problem ; but , of course , you're not thinking about that since you're working so hard on trying to kill mutas with corsairs..."

I think it is balanced enough to say that there is no imbalances left to discuss between the races, however, this thread is soon going to be a biohazzard.

lol tottally noob comentary , i believe its not imba just quite difficult to stop when is massed, so , imba means is not possible to stop, and this is indeed possible you just ask pro gamers so see what they have to say about bw supossed "imba-ness". i believew bw isnt perfect but its the parameter to balance to all the RTS out there and if they dont want to , well they should.

to say that it is not imba is wrong but to figure out who it favors would be impossible.

Show us a replay of some imba and we can tell you what you did wrong... You cant say it is imba when you did something wrong./ there is always a reason you lost

I like how the have balance econ in starcraft never thought about that how protoss can build and leave, zerg build morre than one at a time, and terran have 10 suplly count

The only times it is "imba" is when you're playing in a map that favors that specific race. Other than that, there is no imbalances in starcraft broodwar, period.

And for your last statement, yeah I agree, that's the beauty of scbw. All races have advantages and disadvantages in their own unique way.

Well..hes one of those players who

1. thinks hes something

2. can imagine everything in game by few games

3. can point out imba things from few games when others cant do it after 10 years

He must be progamer..since only progamers can point out imba things, because they are the ONLY players in world who knows how to play TO THE LIMIT..and on the LIMIT is only place to see if there is ANYTHING wrong

And since in all these years..there havent been any imba whine from progamers..there is NONE.

Some people will never stop whining about imbalances until they never lose a game... which would take 5 lifetimes to accomplish, so I just try to plug my ears and hum when it starts, lol.

The game is 10 years old, is regarded with the reverence of a professional sport and has millions of dedicated fans worldwide. There's been time, there's been attention, there's been dedicated and talented individuals to evaluate this shit and the game is still regarded as one of most balanced rts ever made. GG NO RE
