Wow, this was really gay... (550 reads, 14 replies)
Okay, I was going 3 hatch muta in zvt, and this terran went wraiths while building a vulture to deny scouting. Like wtf he even microed against my scourge. Like omg this guy played tvz like zvt with wraith harrass like muta harrass. Anyone have any tips for me to counter this?

hydras are usually very strong vs wraiths. im not entirely sure since i only play protoss but it should be hydras > wraiths quite easier.

if not you could get evochamber and get faster upgrades with spore colonies.

Speed hydras > wraiths
Muta > Wraith by long shot

While mutas and hydras defend your eco, pressure with mass scourge. Be sure to phase from hydra to lings if you notice he's letting down his wraith harass. 'Cause MnM > hydras unless you +1atk in evo.

once i wraithed rush my friend and macroed up some m'n'm while i was harassing. i noticed that all his hydras had disappeared so i went atk move with my marines medics while sniping ovies with wraiths. few seconds later, i lost evrything. there were stop lurks at his natural and he hid his spire and scourges. pity me

Here, check this out. Other than this... well, he was a lucky bastard that you scouted him last and couldn't get your drone through the ramp to see his early gas and then his factory. Anyway, a lonely vult going out to harass you is usually a good sign of something fishy comming up.
If you are luckier next time then your priorities are:

-either get hydras with speed ugprade or get mutas
-put down an evo chamber immediately if you didn't do that already and get 1-2 spores for each min line, you can live without these, but at this level it eases your job much
-get ovie speed
-a bit later on get lurkers, coz usually while he's harassing, he's building up an m&m force too

Other than this, about the rep: don't put down a sunken in main if it's not necessary.

some fucking amazing muta control
a backstab every time you leave your base?
continuous lurk drops...
a backstab swarm in your choke
a drop that has a defiler in it.
