For God's damn sake where's my mistake? (954 reads, 51 replies)
I wont say that this game is dependend on apm but shouldn't be 70 with eapm of 40 a bit worse in gaming? or am I just´not able to play this fricking game?

well if thhere is 40 apm and 70apm they both should be pretty new players ;/ can't tell what happens.

Being an ass to an ass player, wont make you look any smarter..so cool it down..

Anyways, if youre just played few months or so..play more, and watch reps
You wont gain much by analyzing ur reps for now.

But if you have played long and want to improve, look repays, and analyze each loss of urs, so you wont do the mistake again..

What i do also do often is ( when i used to play that is )that when you win..look the replay you played, from opponents vision ONLY...so you can see what was effective and what turned the game to ur favor...helps me if i want to see wich is good way to harrass for example.

( usually do this right after the game or soon, so you remember also what you did ).

From 3-4 mins of play, I can see that you could've easily ended the game with a 9 pool but instead u made pool at 11?? Then u proceeded to attack the pylon with 2 probes at your natural instead steaming straight for his base. I don't know if you saw, but your overlord was in prime position to scout that his forge was way late and that he built a nexus before cannons. When you had 6 lings and he only had 1 cannon, you should have just ran past the cannon and into his main for harassment. He had nothing in his main.

At like the 7th minute, you attacked his 3rd when he warping in cannons with 2 zealots. Why not just focus fire on the pylon and kill the probe, rendering the cannons useless until he rebuilds a pylon.

At this moment, you committed yourself to 4 hatches and a hydralisk den. If you used your overlord to scout a bit earlier before his corsairs came out, you would've seen that 2/3 hatch mutalisk was much more viable because it puts you as an aggressor while he defends instead of now where the protoss did not receive any harassment and happily runs of two bases. Oh and also, mutalisks would also allow you to scout his main base so you would've seen his templar archives, hence it would've allowed you to prepare for a corsair/dark templar combo if he was indeed planning to use it. Also, at the eighth minute mark, his corsairs were just in your base and you had no means to stop them with your hydras. Leaving a couple hydras within your base can be helpful as well. With 800 minerals in the bank, you can also afford to make a spore colony at each base right now.

Don't know why you made a fifth hatchery at your third expo. You saw that he took his third so you should have taken your fourth.

Anyways, that's enough commenting for now. Hope it has helped.

I watched your rep at 15x speed on the minimap and was struck by how the game looks even, but wave after wave of zerg attackers just evaporated.

So I checked it out and lo, almost all your casualties were being caused by Templar storms. So this noob thinks it's your attack style. Watch a pack of your Hydras go in, they select targets and do not move, making ideal storm targets. If you moved em every few seconds a lot of those storms might land on your pursuers instead.

but the problem is that I watched 1000 pro replays. I tried to copy I tried to develope my own style and I already watched my fricking replays ... I figured really a many stuff cause this buT I lost two times in a row ... versus a fucking Protoss Noob ( yeah those guys who pick P cause they can win the most at the beginning ) with eapm 40 and I was just wondering where the little details are ... the small things I cant see .... one single shiT hint isnt too much demanded right? was it the less use of defilers ... didnt i make the right decisions? atatcking the expos ... being too long aggressive in the start .. fucking micro ... too slow in making expos. I got my own eyes ..yeah .. that's also good cause I wouldnt be there where I am right now ... and omg I get to a fricking point where I simple HAVE NO crappy clue whats wrong with my play. a single hint ... and to say something to the single long post ... well I donT play 9 pool ... cause I wanna train and not quit the game before iT starts. And yeaH I was going hyds lurks but that was the way I decided ...
3rd expo and my 4th was really helpful ... in a ... certain way ..
and well thats it ... not things like noob and dont know what happens ...
I just want answers for my question ... and my question wasnt how can I figure out myself what was the mistakes ...

now advices:
-micro to dodge storms
-try to control enemy (you shoul have always one ling or overlord in place he could make expo)
-don't send 2 full groups of units with attack command to place where is hard defence
-think about drops
-don't make hatcheries if you don't use them
-use spell (late game without defilers, you will never win - it was too late in your game)
- stop playing with zerg if it doesn't suit you (i think it doesn't)
