how to stop 4 pool? (102 reads, 7 replies)
Seems like they can have 4 lings in your base before ur first marine comes out

Anyone have advice or replays of how to stop it?

Easy..some scv's in ramp or make a bunker, I think the best choice is to close your marines among buildings or units

and if im correct a 4pool includes 6 lings not 4 lings ;p

the best way to play is to play as normal and mciro with the marine..

immediately start a bunker right next to your cc (be sure it covers your supply) and a second rax that kinda helps blocking it.. pull some scvs so that you'll be able to get your first rine in the bunker. if the 1st marine dies you'll have to fight with all your scvs and will probably lose
however if you manage to get your first rine in the bunker just lift your first rax and you'll be ahead by a lot.. then the best follower is academy rush
don't forget to harass his drones with your scouting scv as much as possible
