How would you describe the three races in Starcraft2 just based on what you see? Forgetting its predecessor, so this is just for non Starcraft gamers, I'm to influenced by that game hehe. I'm making this website and I want to describe the three races generally, would be really glad if you helped me out. Ofc I wont just rip off, I would make it my own so to speak.

Seems like siege tanks will be useless vs protoss because of the dragoons new shields, if protoss still have psi storm I cant understand how we gonna battle them.

vs zerg terran it seems to be the same thing as usual, with medivac instead of medics?

Do you mean like, appearance? or like battling/matchups?

Like, if this was the first StarCraft game, are you looking for like descriptions about what they do? or what they look like, example: The zerg are like monsters, etc.

All the races seem pretty imbalanced atm (powerful and weak alike) but I would say that Zerg is pretty powerful. ;\

the zerg are kind of, like monsters you know? like locusts O.O just big swarms, like you'd see in a beehive, slimy etc.

terran, metallic, kind of like us, but more advanced

protoss, kind of "alien"like compared to humans, metallic

I can say everything has several counters in the game, but yeah Zerg might be the strongest now, followed by protoss and terran the weakest.

This is wrong. The game is not done yet, can't make any speculation about your units. In the wwi, the protoss are strongest of then zerg and terran, blizzaard is making all possible to balance then, but the protoss are strong, and strong they will be forever. The zerg are very strong, better then in starcraft broodwar, this is my point. sorry for the errors of language friends, i'm never study english.

To finish, i'm very happy. i don't like of remove arbiters and dark archons (to me, they are the magic of the game, i like very much they) but we only know starcraft 2 when it is finished. end speculation please!

I hope blizzard knows that if the game is not perfectly balanced it will split the community and that will kill both bw and sc2.

Ever heard of patches? Starcraft wasn't so balanced when it came but patches fixed it right up~~.

I'm not getting so far, but this is what I have so far:

Terran, metallic:

With it's square shapes and uses technology to a great extent to get the upper hand over their foes.

Protoss, metallic:

Uses its superior technology and are nicely colored in gold with round shapes.

Zerg, biological:

Zerg are ugly, raw and biological. Monsters!

Terran are apparently the most complete of the three races. Protoss and Zerg still need more work from what I hear.

In terms of the design, I would say that Starcraft II looks too much like Warcraft III and other Warcraft games. In terms of the races, Terran are the best looking, followed by Protoss and then Zerg. I think Zerg could look a bit better, as I think they've changed too much from the old Starcraft. If you were to look at the design completly without playing the first Starcraft then I think the game is very unique and fantastic looking, but I think it is very important to take note of what the old Starcraft looked like and that Starcraft II should look simmilar to its original.

I won't comment too much about the balance in Starcraft II, but everyone needs to note that Starcraft took three years (or even more) to get it to the state of true balance brilliance, so those who complain about the balance issues in the game have no right to as the game has not even been released yet.

However, as far as I know, the most powerful races in Starcraft II is the Protoss.

according to blizzard devs talked at the blizzcast # 3 the protoss are the most fun and more complete race right now, followed by terran and last the zerg.
