    yes yes i know use the search function , i did and they helped a little so i downloaded a free version of camtasia and fraps and started testing.

    camtasia is giving me fucked up colours during sc(wich i read happens alot)
    fraps gave me a good image but there was an insane amount of lag now there arent many options in the free version i can change to change that.(i think)

    anyway my questions are if someone can give me some advice on wich program i should use if anyone can get me a full version of fraps dunno if you need reg key for that and if anyone could give me some advice on how to lower lag in free version and/or full version.

    also the free version of fraps is making my vid size enormous a half minute is like 250 mb i cant change this either in the free version any help? t.t

    You need to adjust your settings in camtasia and dump fraps. You did not use the search function well enough as Spitfire has posted a guide on how to adjust these settings. It is very well done and I have used it a few times here it is:

    The fucked up colors you get in camtasia are a result of your settings being useless to record starcraft. Watch this manual by Spitfire adjust your settings to his (yes his eng is bad and he goes fast but they made pause for a reason :D) it is very useful and has worked for me many many times in the past. If you need anymore help please PM me, but this topic has been done over and over you should be able to get most the starter questions answered here.
