    Help with rename rep please (96 reads, 6 replies)
    Hi guys. I have a little problem here with my replays. Whenever I want to rename some of my reps in my starcraft folder located in the map files, whenever I want to change my rep's name, it says something like "change extention of file will make it unusable" and if I do change it, I couldn't open it with bwchart or anything else. Does anyone know why and hwo to solve it? Thanks in advance.

    I think is bcuz ur making a little mistake in removing the extension .rep
    it has happen me a lot of times that when i want to rename it i take accidentally the (.) or a letter from .rep and mess the file. Try to rename them again withouth touching this (.rep) thing GL ;)

    oh and if u have a messed rep just add the extension withouth space to the name file and it should work again

    Indeed #1 prolly correct. Also make sure that you are selecting the file to be saved as .rep or .scx i think.

    But is there like a way to hide the extensions? Can you please tell me how?

    Yeah, well, open a folder and go options, folder options (I have it in spanish so dunno exactly how about english), in View you have to go to... "Hide file extensions for bla bla bla..." and uncheck it.
