    Zerg sucks? (805 reads, 31 replies)
    Hi, I asked on bnet after a pro zerg players so I can whatch their replays, but on guy told me that zerg sucks and no body plays serious with zerg on tours.

    So can some one tell me if i shall stick to zerg or change race? If Zerg sucks.

    zerg doesn't suck .

    Jaedong just until this month dropped to #2 on KESPA, and well SaVior and July had their dominance era ...

    What about mondragon ?
    zerg is very strong, and fun race to play with IMHO

    The situation's following:
    average z < average t,p
    good z usually = good t,p
    perfect z > all
    but you must know how to switch many strategies and play very risky if you want to be effective

    Yes Zerg is a very hard race to play...
    Just like #4 said, average T or P rapes the average Z... It's not until about b to -a (iccup level) with zerg when the races start to become really balanced... That is why there is so much more T and especially P players... Those races are just easier. Be proud to be a member of the Swarm, young Cerebrate!

    sorry for off topic, but i was wondering, who is the best TvZ(Terran vs Zerg) player of foreigners? i have seen the koreans pros, amazing micro etc, but who in the foreign scene?

    z is a race that you gotta have one heck of a good control to play with.too many units the same time, and to be honest thats why i dont game with Z and i prefer toss.Less strong units easy to control and move arround,than a huge mass of less weak units and having like 6 hotkeys to move em -.-

    y and thats why p is a nooby race ...all what you gonna do with p is storm storm storm :D
    z is a great race....very mobile and much different from p and t who are kind of smiliar due to tech trees.

    zerg is the funniest race to play, if you'r looking for challenge play z if u wanna win all time vs other noobs play p if u wanna be annoying and turtling all time play T :D

    Lol? Terran and Protoss are similair due to tech trees? Are you kidding me? Protoss are much more spell reliant as well as we have to macro much more than Terran players, especially in PvT. Saying that Protoss is a noob race is pretty ignorant as some of the best players in the world (for every race) have been protoss. Also as a long time player of SC and BW I know man that all the races are equally hard to learn and play, just because you find protoss micro easy or something doesnt mean it is.

    Trust me PvZ is not just STorm storm storm.

    I can imagine playing zerg seriously must be one hell of a strain in the long run. Not nearly the same casual feeling as playing other races. That's what I feel at least. You always feel safer playing any other race even tho you are loosing like crazy. As zerg you feel like you could be overthrown no matter the amounts of ahead you are.

    But this game hardly simulates the TRUE power of zerg as in reality though.

    ROFL the guy that said that wasnt serious or hes dumb. And all this average post , lol...

    Average Z is not more worse than , Average P , T... ITS just same. it depends on how u play

    it.. doesnt matter. the player who plays the better and smartest wins. Jaedong got moved to 2nd place just cuz of Flash dominating. Ofcourse cuz Flash is better imo. I think SC:BW is the balanced game ever. and u cant say a race is easier than this. u play with the one u have fun and are more comfortable with and if u play a guy with same skill but with another race, it doesnt depend on the race. it depends on how u play etc.

    And all this ppl saying Protoss is easy to learn and easiest race. No race is the easiest , just the one u can enjoy is the easiest for you.

    THIS GAME IS PURELY BALANCED!
