    [T]v[Z] Burrowed Lurker in swarm (528 reads, 21 replies)
    What are the most effective ways to kill lurkers in dark swarm in TvZ its annoying and I think its imba the only way to kill it is w/ irradiate I mean come on...

    you cant kill them with marines, but with firebats, irradiate and siege tanks (splash damae)

    lurkers under swarm are best avoided. always try to find defiles first and irradiate them, only then engage in battle, over their corpses I mean ! :P

    actually tanks do damage aswell if you aim for lings or shit like that, other than that I'd say the most effective way is to take care of it as early as possible. Kill defilers before battle and kill lurkers quickly before time for new defiler

    the best thing to do is when u see units under dark swarm is to nuke them ;-)
    if he runs out of dark swarm cancel nuke and stim marines to kill his lurkers :D:D

    i wouldnt focus ur play on getting alot of firebats since if there's more than 3 lurkers ur firebats will die before they touch them just get alot of vessels and send rines everywhere

    i said tanks in siege mode (splash damage), but yes the best way is to mass vessels+MnM+couple tanks irradiate the def's if that fail get the hell out of the swarm and irradiate those burrowed bastards =D also in the time the lurkers are burrowing you can kill a couple of them with average micro just stim and aim. GL

    they dont do any dmg to burrowed lurkers under darkswarm only if there are so many lurkers burrowed next to each other that the splash from trying to hit one is affecting the one nxt to him they get damaged.
