Hello. I am speaking about a classic and sure 1 gate zea core gate 4 goon robotic.
It is sure that ob will come out before dt arrives to ur bse..
so my question is:
is sae when 4 goon pump out attack with ur goon trying to harass his base?
Or is better wait in ur base for ob?
Plz reply only if u know the problem..don't spam ty
Hmm well this all depends on gateway count and your tech. If you have a high gateway count (3 gate robo) then you will want to harass as soon as possible, before he has dts preferably. Rally the obs to his base if DTs are coming and dont make any right now if he doesnt have any. If you are 2 gate goons>reaver or something like that then you will probably want to be a bit campy till the reaver hits, and expand at your natural.
Your post is somewhat vague and you dont really describe your level of play. For all I know you play Fastest Green Exclusively and your high gateway count it like 15. Please put more effort into your post as it helps you to get more educated and relative advice, opposed to a somewhat vague and less descriptive strategy. Replays and analysis of your level of play are the best way to start, you can also add your APM, iCCup rank, and your opponents iCCup rank. Thanks
My level of play is C C+(max rank reacher) my post is not vague. My question is:
If i have 4 goon at start of game can i attack? Is possible that dt arrives before? It is really not complicated:|
from your just your main post I would get that u play 1gate and 4goons? or do you add a 2nd?
it really is vague, unless u rly mean 1gate, 1zea, and then 4goons from that gate and if the obs kicks in then. This could be an fe build, but ofc, very risky. If you opponent got strong macro in the early game with 2gate you would be dead, 3 gate even more and rvr, just not to mention.
But it would prolly help u vs dt, unless he goes STRAIGHT dt, means no waste between core and citadel and then directly archives, and makes 2dt's but has like 3units b4 that. Then the dt might kick in b4 the obs.
I tried one time to block my ramp with probe, while getting cannon at top, rushing 4 dt and shuttle and dropping his base while he was containing me. It worked.
yeah, good idea to start insulting ppl who are trying to help you. Had you actually posted a real BO, or something like you poster right now, it would have been clear. I hardly understood what you meant either...
Does oblivion still work on iccup with AntiHack on?
Because Ive been getting raped by zergs who don't scout (I know this because I watch rep) and three games in a row have perfectly timed attacks that just rape me, even though they haven't scouted AT ALL except at start of game.
anyways for this question i think it somewhat depends on the distance you're away from your opponent and how fast he tells his dts to attack sometimes people just wait for no reason lol
saviorself, create your own thread if you want to discuss something completely off topic. And concerning your second last post, I suggest you read the op again. He never says "pump 4 gate"
#19 he said it in #9...though it still is very obvious that he has meant 'pump 4 goon'.
Personnaly I can't answer to the op, but can advise to remember than 1gate gas -> DT comes much faster than 2gate zealots -> DT.
In first case he will have less goons and you, imo, should put pressure on.
In 2nd case DTs arrive at your base and you have obs in time even if you went 3gate before robo. However, he will have enough forces to prevent the 4goon contain attempt at his ramp, so imo in this case it's better to attack later: when you have 2 obs(one stays at your main) and when cannons at his nat(assuming he tries to expand with 1-2 cannons after DTs) are almost finished.

Do you think more events between the Korean pro-scene and the foreign community should be organized? (Example: Spirit Tournament, World-Wide Invitiational) (850 votes)
Yes, it will help both communities grow stronger!

Yes, but it will do very little for both communities or help only one of the two
