    The only reason you have to pay monthly for WOW is because of the large amount of 24/7 maintenence that has to be done.

    WOW is changing all the time, and maintaining the servers takes alot of people.

    We won't have that problem with D3, or SC2.

    There will be no other pay after you buy it. Besides D3X :)

    cant u play diablo with hamachi like 8 people on hamachi for battle/leveling and no need for b.net? u can create something like iccup for starcraft... or am i wrong and it won´t work?

    #45 I haven't tried Diablo on hamachi, but seeing as it's possible to play it in Local Area Network then it should work with hamachi, yes

    There's your answer. Blizzard dont want to make a "WOW-copy". Its a new Diablo game not a new WOW. With alot of expectations to live up to im sure they wont mess things up.

    i think it will be an great idea if online players of new blizzard titles spend 2 or 3 euros on multiplayer via internet..just to have the support by Blizzard with the battle.net...they create somtehing like a gamemasterjob and they organizing tourneys or support for leagues like the ESL for example... i would pay for that bnet support...

    wow imo is noob game cuz its 99% luck and 1% skill, but i dont understand why 10m people play it, maybe we have so many noobs in this world ? :S
    but d3 will follow wow unfortunatly, problalby it will be more wow than d2

    I think the first quote is taken a bit out of context.

    Some facts.
    1. Blizzard will use Battle.net.
    2. Blizzard seem to be optimizing the game for around 8 players.
    3. Blizzard says the same thing about SC2.

    The reason for them not wanting to rule out P2P is simply because they don't know what will happen during development. Maybe they come up with some crazy idea that they once implemented feel they cant remove, this idea might require them to use a P2P method. While the wording for both SC2 and D3 seems to favor that this will not be the case, Blizzard will not rule it out.

    Are you cunts fucking stupid? Greed???? The billions they made on WoW is used for billing of their headquarters, employee paychecks (MANY), software, electricity usage, publishing, manufacturing, game designs and the list goes on. So don't think they're this multibillion dollar company, because they use most of what they earn to pay for the expenses that follows from building huge games like WoW.

    Besides, I think Blizzard should make a partnership with Valve to get onto Steam and then stop manufacturing gameboxes, so you have to pay over the internet on Steam for your game. I'd like to see those who'd disagree with that go "Oh well, then I just won't play their shit anymore ;ooo", WELL GL WITH TETRIS THEN CUNT, CUZ THATS PROBABLLY THE ONLY GAME YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY IN THE FUTURE.

    Why do many say pay to play? He is taking about pay per play, in that it means that one game costs money and if you play many more games it costs more and for the record I am against and I dont think it will be so becouse it isnt an rpgmmo wich costs alo, alot more and requires alot more people for maintainance.
