PVZ starcraft 2 video (1062 reads, 11 replies)
Has anyone seen this? I don`t think it was posted before.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=mIu5d8IwYZs&feature=related

You can find the other parts related to this video. At some point of the 2nd video i have seen something from zerg, a building or something with 5 queue spots. The hatchery still has only 3 larvas, but what was that?

The Evolution Chamber? Or the Spawning Pool? He didn't really do any tech. :P

So familiar, yet so very different. Will be fun trying when it gets out. :)

The second video do demonstrate why I'll miss the Reaver thou. The walking thing that I always forgets the name of that's supposed to replace it just walked in and killed some stuff. Not very exciting. I don't see any live crowd going crazy about that, like when a Reaver-drop comes. :P
Oh well.

Yup, that Collosus just went near those minerals and killed everything in the way. The results are close to the reaver-drops but far from being that spectaculous.

upgrades perhaps.
Also, I can't but laugh at how shitty they are even though I haven't played sc2 a single time, I know I'd be better than them even with barely knowing the units.

Could be upgrades. Altough i wouldn`t like the idea to queue upgrades .. the game is turning more and more newb-friendly, because if you have the required resources you can just queue all the upgrades and you won`t have to worry about that again ..

if they are ready to waste for example the money of three upgrades, they got to suck pretty much. At a higher level of brood war even if you could queue upgrades, nobody would use the feature. Besides, I doubt you can queue same upgrade twice.

Queueing upgrades ahead of time is pointless.

Now it could make it more simple like if you have only ten seconds left of one upgrade to go ahead and click the next one if you have the money, but just sittng around with several hundred resources "in queue" on upgrades that take two or three minutes is retarded.

---

By the way, zerg player in that game is just terrible, especially game 1.

Are these the people they have playtesting this game for blizzard? This is ridiculous. He isn't even as good as a 25% public noob.

Also, GAme 2, the reason nobody did any "oohs" and "aahs" on the collosus attack is because this game was over from the beginning. Zerg's build order was so terrible I laughed. He finished extractor at 1:30, but didn't start using it until 2:50. He starts #2 hatchery when he should be starting #3 or 4 already.

---

The queue you see in the the second video is either the burrow upgrade or a queen training, whatever the case, its on the hatchery, not the evolution chamber.

ath

the mutation of zerg buildings is idiotic...THERE'S INNER GLOW ROFL !!! i dunno why did they come up with that (maybe because of the darkish atmosfere that prevails?!?) but nowhere in sc 1, nowhere in biological world you can find something that glows once it cacoons itself in order to mutate...i just dont understand how dont THEY understand that...and it doesnt even look good...in my opinion it looks like some sick mushroom soupe
all tough i know (i really really hope so) that the picture of transmutation (from mutating building to complete one, from mutating egg to unit etc..) wont stay this way - in one second you see a building or egg mutating, in other u see that building or unit without mid video of some sort - i doubt they will make it look nice once they do it

im pretty much deeeeeeply dissapointed from what i saw so far..
but in the end ill buy the game coz i spent many years on sc1 so thats pretty much all that counts to them

Oh yeah, I really like the water in these videos. It is actually fluid and has moving waves.

It is perhaps a tad too glossy, but certainly an enormous improvement over both BW and War3 water.

Too bad Nydus Worm is the only amphibious unit.

well i just dont put all my hopes only on art issues i never cared about that i just want to have a hell of a fun game with a solid gameplay , so just relying on saying that because the art sucks, the game sucks is kind of stupid considering we havent even played this game. we only see crappy youtube videos.
