Mouse Acceleration: OFF (812 reads, 23 replies)
It is really hard for me to play with my mouse acceleration off t.t yet ive heard that all progamers turn it off and boost up mouse speed and thus we see this "smooth" and "precise" movements in a FPVOD.

Is this how you have it set up? Btw, mouse speed really depends on the mouse u've got!

I've got Logitech MX-518 it's 1600dpi mouse and I've turned acceleration instantly after install Logitech software. I've play CS a lot without it and now Im a lot more precise than before but just when I turn it on I can't even click on icon on my desktop! I think that accelerate off is a good thing but U have to accustom to it ;)

I've played cs for several years and i think about 90% of the players use accel off... it's so much more precise! and about using a high dpi is totally wrong... most of the cs players i know and even the progamers use 400-800 dpi. i use an mx-518 btw (using a decent mouse pad increases precision too)

if i turn mine on the precision of the mouse is fucked and its hard to select single units, the mouse becomes much faster tho but you can always just turn up the mouse speed instead and stay with the good precision

why would anyone have mouse acc on. Every time you move your mouse on your mousepad the distance your cursor makes is diffrent with accel on.
