Please, post a longer description of the game. Your own ideas and thoughts. That will make this A LOT easier.

Mass anti-air. I don't know about pt, but in a pp v zz, it was really imba against the zerg.

We both made 1 gate tech builds, defending against zerglings as necessary, and I went double stargate and my partner went 3 gate dt. We were able to not only hurt the zergs but also destroy both of their fast expansions ...

I know that can't be expected every game, but I'm just saying mass anti air is a great thing.

PT v ZZ ... maybe 2 port wraiths + 3 gate DT?

play island maps. Or try having SUPERIOR map control. a good style is to send 6-7 scv/probes to enemy natural expansion. It dies before first lings appear.

if ur z and u predict ur opponets will go hydras, it is absolutley necessary to take ur choke with ur 2nd hatch, with that u can defend ur base with just 1-2 sunkesn and some lings quite ez. i perfer muta tech vs z (most z do it anyway if 2v2 last's that long :) ). their hydra will make em less maneuvarble and mobile, u can harass and prevent thir expansions. importat thing is that ur ally doesnt sit idle either :)

#2, I gave the suggestion for your own sake. Analyse the game yourself at the best of your ability, post your conclusion or even the full analysis here and we won't only be able to comment on the game but also on your thinking behind the decisisons you made. THUS, put some effort on it and don't use give a rude answer when I give you proper advice.

2 zerg are not allowed in pro tours? Seriously?

you're not allowed to do dual races at all. Of course, dual random is allowed or let's say one zerg and one rdm which lead to dual zergs, that is also allowed. But picking 2 zergs, 2 Ps or 2 Ts in any team, no that is not allowed. I think this is because of dual zerg havingin owned too badly or something..

You're zerg and your partner is... ?
Well, if you're being pwned always by the same tactic (mass hydras as you said), if your partner is P you should cover him while he techs to Templar Archives and release some HTs w/ storm. Then, use your lings or hydras as decoy, when your foe approaches storm'em all and keep pushing with your units, he should has some goons as well. If your patner is T then it will be a little bit harder since his best ranged units are siege tanks which ones have a terrible cooldown time and stay still when are attacking.
The most useful combination I could tell you is medrines (w/ some decent micro) + leapfroggin' lurkers.

I guess he means he plays ZP with his partner.
And lets face it ZZ vs ZP is the most imbalanced match up there is.

I dont usually play with protoss players but a few good tactics are;
Let your ally go forge and let him cannon your choke. You got 9 pool fast muta. So you only make 6 lings (mayb 8) also depending on what they are doing. You got a good chance to overpower the zergs or at least fuck them up cause they will usually drone up and tech 2 slow to either muta or hydra.
Your ally should go dt/zeal. Harass his expos and make sure they cant go out untill they got speed ovi. By that time your ally has mass storm = gg.

Another option is rushing. It might sound stupid but most dual zergs choose a 9pool/12hatch expo. If they do that they are dead because they cant stop a rushing z (9pool) with a p (going 8/9 gate) .

Xiaozi and LJT often do this a lot. The zerg even goes fast muta (with 9 pool again) where the protoss goes 3 gates mass zeal. You do have to have a very good macro for this.

And of course every map comes with a other strategies.
Depending on choke size, map size, amount of gas positions, islands etc etc etc!

To be honest, I find zz vs zt a bitch -.-

early drop is also the key. Because vs 2 zergs it is insanely hard to combine ur and ur allies units. unless ur ally goes medic fb and comes to you. but medic fb is so slow the enemy zergs have time to adapt when they see it coming out.
If the 2z is good they wwill always get 2v1 situations.

Good idea is to play zt.
when ally terran goes m&m + 2-3 bats. u don't waste any of ur lings. let ur ally burn enemy troops before u waste anything.
