id like to read your opinions about countering toss build orders w zerg.

if the toss:

fe and upgrade ( speed +1 zealots): 3 hatch muta w 4 sunkens on base and early gas ? i mean something like 12 hatch 11 pool 13 hatch 16 gas. the early gas is to ensure ill have mutas when the zealots are coming.

fe and corsair: 3 hatch hydra ? mass lings ? what do you need to see more than the corsair to decide what to do ?

when do you think it is better to make lurkers ?

and what about 12 hatch 13 hatch 12 pool against FE toss ?
is there any special build order related to 3 hatch before pool ?

i know these are dumb questions but im trying to renew my zvp style

i hope someone can understand what i mean and help me

EDIT: i forgot to say that i do always send my second drone (6/9)
to scout so i can see if the toss is doing FE or not and then i can make
12 hatch or 12 pool, etc. i can always see it before the 12 drone is born. what do you think about it ?

i prefer 9. :)

on 3 player maps u allways gonna scout him before u have 200 for 11pool after 12hatch.
on 4 player maps if u got unlucky u wont scout him :P
... but 6. drone scouting fucks up your eco to much, dont do it

Its early enough to go with 2 drones to your expo and after laying your hatch to send the second drone scouting. But to be safe against hard 2 gate pressure i would recommend the build 9 ovi pool. That forces toss to go cannons first if he fes. If u see him fe, double expand at your nat and 1 other gas expo preferably a natural of an other starting point. Now 16-18 gas timing is fine. What is important against fe is your second and third gas timing. You should take your second and third gas at 35-38/42-45. That allows you to get a fast forth hatch at 25-28 supply.

Now against Speedlot rush you can either go muta or lurker. But dont waste ga on an early speedovi upgrade or spire(in case you went lurker), make those when you get your second and third gas + upgrades.

Against corsairs, you have to make the speedlord upgrade and the hydra speed upgrade. From then on just keep pumping hydras from 3 hatches while you take your 4th and 5th hatch to build drones. Get lurker upgrade, spire and evos, when u get your second and third gas.

w 6 drone scout
i do always can see if the toss is going for FE or 2 gates pressure
when my overlord is about to born.
if it is FE i make 12 hatch 11 pool or something more risky.
if its 2gate push i do 12 pool or 9 pool, etc

if i do scout w my 9 or 12 drone i can be fucked if the guy is making some proxy build or 2 gate pressure.

and 6 drone scout wont mess my eco that much

I can promise you that my 9pool has a better relative eco than your 12hatch with a 6drone scout.
