Heh, yeah, hard to believe too, and sad as well.

Sad mostly because Blizzard is one of the last popular and good entertainment companies that actually releases the games with a Mac version along side with a Windows version, at the same time; not 5 months later.

Mac users can still use StarEdit, they just need to use the Classic StarEdit, tbh, the game is old, and if players really wanted to make a map, they should use classic or just buy a PC that has superior map editors to StarEdit.

Many Mac users now have Intel Macs which don't support Classic, and not to mention Classic isn't for sale, many computers don't have it at all, and finally, specifically in my case, if they had any type of problem with their computer and had to wipe their hard drive, they can't use Classic.

On another note, most Mac users tend to have a pride in them using OS X or just Macs in general, and many wouldn't go out and buy a PC.

P.S. If this sounded a little bit hostile, (I'm just kinda piling up facts to try to prove you wrong) I apologize, as it wasn't my original goal. My goal was just to point out some things.

Nah, that's not hostile at all. I see your point. I guess it's a little out of the way for intel mac users to use staredit.

I just never knew about the later mac's not supporting classic, also my powerbook came with a bunch of apps and Classic OS on a support CD, so I thought that would be norm. Haven't paid attention to macs lately.

I think the creator of Staredit does not even work there anymore so i guess you would not have much of a chance. A good chance to help yourself out is to use BootCamp or Parallels Desktop to have Windows installed and take out of it what you need. I use Parallels and run both systems same time with no problems

Yeah, I've tried Boot Camp and Parallels, but eventually, it started to crash, and not work anymore, and I got sick of setting up windows due to it taking about 2 hours each time.
