Baltic (Estonia/Latvia/Lithuania) and Czech/Slovakia ...this is just stupid. And yeah no Romanian (they have some goot players). So now China and Korea (may be Russia too) have not only the best players but bigger chance to win. What's the point of that WCG anyway.

And btw I think Lamer did not qualify in SC ,he played some other game.

Iran is sending 2 players because CS is banned from play in Iran (Iran government banned it) so they have extra slots available

Slots are paid for by the host country, they decide who gets sent (which games, how many players)

I think USA might actually be sending 2 but I have not seen official word so I cannot update

Spain had huge budget issues this year, they are only sending CS and FIFA. I think some Spanish players are trying to get a new sponsor for Starcraft, we will see. Norway and Finland have already had their finals played, Norway send Warcraft, CS and C&C3. Finland sent CS, Warcraft, DOA4 and PGR3.
