I played this one opponent who was very arrogant ... whenever I lost a probe or something, he'd take the time to write "hahahaha you suck" on the screen ...

it should be noted that his record was something like 40-3

then, I unsuccessfully zealot rushed him, and about 90 seconds later, he came with an all-in metaling attack.

Right at the instant when it was obvious his all-in attack failed, my computer crashed completely. I could not alt-tab. I could not alt-f4. I could not ctrl-alt-del.

As it happens, I had to physically shut down the computer by holding down the power button. Obviously there is no replay because my computer shut down before the game ended.

is there a known hack or bug that is able to cripple an enemy computer that way?

well there is one bug on bw that crashes ur computer to that condition when u play a game and it ends or watch replay and it ends. i've heard that there is fix pach for it. but that what u have happened, i really dont know what to say.

Haha, this happened to me once.

If your computer automatically saves replays, just find your 2 most recent replays that are saved and delete them. That SHOULD do it. As #1 said, sometimes if you play it will just crash. I've never come across THAT, well I did, but it only happened once and I was too drunk to care.

Yes, a guy offended me once and i bmed him back. Then he said he is a hacker and he would hack my cpu if i bmed him more. ofcourse i didn't believe him and i kept bming. Then he said that he shows me. Asap after that my screen started to blink and he typed "blink blink ;)". I tried to act as nothing happened and i said "?? blink?" or something like that. Btw the blinking wouldn't stop untill i restarted my computer.

But it seems like he could turn my monitor off or turn it black which is typically the same thing as keeping the monitor black for good as in your case. That actually is not a computer crash but a monitor crash hack I believe.

it happened to me today... i was playing, about to win and suddenly bw is finished and no lastreplay saved.
