Programs improving mouse accuracy (876 reads, 13 replies)
Hi to all!

I was wondering if somebody of you would tell us some programs that will help you to improve mouse accuracy. As long as this is something of a major importance in StarCraft you can do everything faster not only with keyboard but with mouse.
Like Counter-Strike... or games for Nintendo that you aim at an enemy and shoot... or something similar. I'm sure all of you can think off at least 1 or 2 of this kind and will be really grateful if they would share them off. Thatwise you can upgrade mouse accuracy and speed.

Thanks.

I think there's something called "Carpus" or "Carpals" ...

if you activate both Carpal 2.4 and Phalanges 1.3 in the correct order, you should be able to click more accurately.

The addition of MousePad Beta would help too.

logitech setpoint (also older versions were known as mouseware)

Pick any mouse, for example g5 and download setpiont. Its works for all mouses afaik...

I suggest turning acceleration off and turning the speed to max. Thats how u'll achive a fairly precise mouse with good speed. If u dont have a good mouse (i think good mouses are 1600dpi with a high refresh rate) such (or any other) type of software wont help you much...

Playing SC more is the equivalent to playing flash / training games that involve aiming with precision. Just play more SC. Speaking from my own experiences, playing an FPS doesn't help much with your speed and precision in SC.
