no that is not true. Just trigged, create borrowed lings, then unborrow and attack

erhm since you can burrow them on top of each other they might pop up a bit away from the original burrow spot to make place.

Do you see them burrow in the first place? B'cos I don't and that makes me say: Trigger.

can't be trig burrow. they are within cannon dectection range and the cannons would have detected and attacked them before they unburrowed.

Not if they're created and unburrowed at the same time. ;)

Triggers! If it's from the singleplayer campaign that base might be supposed to be overrun, and doesn't it look much cooler if they just pop out of the ground instead of comming running? :P

I'm not saving they can't move underground thou, I was just answering to that it could indeed be a trigger. Wouldn't suprise me that much if they could move underground thou, by the looks of Protoss Blizzard has removed and changed stuff that wasn't used much in BW and making lings able to move underground would indeed be an worthy upgrade to burrow.

...it's just completely different lings un-burrowing at different times.. i don't care if the cannons didn't shoot them, it's probably deliberate for video entertainment purposes

I am 200% sure they cannot move underground. Technically speaking, this would be 100% equal to CLOAK: they disappear from sight range (if not detected), move and reappear in proximity of their target.

1) It is no sense to let burrow work exactly like the cloak skll
2) It is no sense to let a "cloak" skill work without energy requirements
3) It would make burrowable units EQUAL to flying units (you burrow, follow a straight line underground and reappear wherever you want)

1) + 2) + 3) = NO FUCKING WAY you could balance something like that, whatever you do. Imagine a group of zergling underground rushing a protoss nexus 3 minutes after the game started, lol.

So it must be triggered or, at the very least, the zerg and the protoss were previously allied and suddenly became enemies.

Why? Cinematics are meant to be spectacular and Blizzard already reminded us a lot of times ("don't judge the balancing from what you see in the movies")

If all the units were presetted, then at the first second the cannon raise up for the close burrowed ling. Then the lings in the back unburrows, thereby drew the attention of the cannons. The phase cannons attack the unburrowed ones first no?

Cannons can't detect burrowed units or the more possible, as someone said that they're created and then unburrowed...

Yes its only You - you better take a closer look at the hi-res version of this movie. Its so clear none is borrowing DOWN at any time - only popping UP.

Get the hi-res here

they could have been already burrowed there before the visible lings came

There are different amount of zerglings at every "jump", so there aren't any jumps, its only other zerglings unburrowing.

So what if this is 100% equal to cloak.
1)Terran and Toss have a cloak, why not zerg? This is a nice low tech alternative.
2)There may be limitations which cancel out a need for an energy cost
3)Even if traveling while burrowing is possible, I doubt that burrowed units will be able to pass unpassable terrain/cliffs and water for that matter, thus they would not even be close to flying units in functionality.

And who is to say this is an upgrade immediately available, maybe it comes with a hive or something, no 3 minute underground rushes then...
