High-end PC with high-end graphics card and... Oh, well I guess that 10TB harddisk space should be enough...

Well, so far SC2 graphics looks better than WarCraft III graphics and didn't Blizzard say that they want SC2 to be also game of big fights? So, if your PC cannot even run WC3 smoothly it very likely won't be able to run SC2 either. And if your PC can run games like Oblivion(?) with full setting SC2 shouldn't bring that much problems either. Like you can try to guess recommended minimum system requirements may probably be something between that cap.

#7, where did you find those? I haven't been able to find anything like that...

Usually Blizzard games are quite friendly for "older computers", with large possiblities of running on very low settings without reducing the quality of the gameplay. Still, it is a new and very flashy game.

I don't think the minimal will be that high, but slightly lower.

Sc2 looks to be using similiar engine like wc3. So if u can play wc3 smoothly then u prolly wont have problem with sc2.

are imo very high considering it's a blizzard game. For other new games they make sense, but blizzard generally also want ppl with not so good comps to buy their games too

Oh, it's possible that they're that high. But considering it's been under development for 4 years and that it's Blizzard we're talking about I think that the minimum requirements will be lower. But that will probably not look very good, but that's not the point. :)

sc2 uses Havok, which is a middleware physics engine
list of games uses this engine too:
http://www.havok.com/content/blogcategory/29/73/

so look at those games, and find some near sc2 game to see a requirements ... maybe it's a some point of reference, you can just guess
